Yeah, why do the Mopar ones need those big mounts if these do fine like this with nothing?Nice. I was looking at those. Nice and clean compared to the big bulky Mopar mounts.

To inflate the price lolYeah, why do the Mopar ones need those big mounts if these do fine like this with nothing?
Seal that hole up with some silicone. Otherwise water will get in through there. It doesn’t seem like it would under the hood, but trust me it will find a way.Still waiting to receive my light mount. Got everything wired up in the mean time though. I have some rigid dually floods I plan on facing at outwards angles for driving on forest trails.
I don't have the aux switch kit so I had to do all the wiring myself.
There was a plastic cap on the firewall I took off for wiring but found it was noticeably louder upon removing it. I dremelled out the middle of the cap and then used rubber sheeting with an X cut through before reinstalling. Sounds just as quiet as before now
Then routed it to the dashboard with a standard flip switch.
I'm happy with this setup but the wiring was very tedius. I think I'm gonna spring for the aux switches for my future lights and accessories. I did however free up an extra switch though .
