Identification of engine sensor.

Hello forum members,

I realize this is regarding the 3.6L in the RWD application but I was curious if anyone knew what sensor is circled in red in the attached picture.

This is regarding a 2015 Town & Country 3.6L FWD (I believe it's the same engine block).

Reason I'm inquiring is it appears ours is leaking, which subsequently leaks onto the passenger axle shaft support bearing.

Not 100% sure because I've not worked on mine (and hope not to for a long time to come) but it appears to be the oil pump solenoid connector. It does not pull out of the block, it pushes in.

Yes, that is the mentioned connector / location where oil is present.

Look like it is an entire assembly including the oil pump..
