I found that companies are using AI to answer the phones and give you the run around and you never get to talk to a real person. If the subject or problem you are having isn't listed its just tough shit. These companies need to Dump that fricking AI and hire real people with emotions and an astute understanding of what is going on and how to handle irate customers or just customers in general.
But then they would have to pay people money and that takes away from record profits and CEO bonus pay.

It’s a PayPal transaction so I started a case. They haven’t responded there either. It’s starting to feel like a total scam.
I believe that if you funded the PayPal transaction with a credit card you still have recourse through the credit card compan. Hopefully that’s the situation.

Paypal can and often will ban your account if you do a ccd dispute outside of their system. However if they arent willing to give you your money back and follow through on their "Customer first" policies fuck em get your money and make a new account.

I ordered a drawer system from them last year. It did take an exceptionally long time to get here but it did arrive well after any CC dispute time. Quality was OK but several screws stripped out or split the plywood. Once assembled and in place it does work well though.

Note to self: Only use PayPal as a last resort.

I bought their JL drawer a couple years ago. I wasn't real impressed with the quality but I installed it anyway. It's really been a great addition to my Jeep and I haven't had any issues with it. I did have some questions so I called 'them'. 'Them' seemed to be one guy. Real nice guy and gave me all the info I needed. I did get the impression though that he was in over his head trying to make a one-man business work. Wouldn't be surprised if he burned out on it. No excuse though for collecting money and not delivering, not communicating. Too bad, I like the product.

I don't wait anymore. Make the company contact thru PayPal. If no response in 24 hours I start talking to the credit card company. Almost always in my favor!

While I very much appreciate feedback and warnings that alert the rest of us, unless I'm misunderstanding the OP's post, it does sound like he's going to get the product he ordered, just not in the promised timeframe nor "expedited" as he had paid for. I often get notifications of shipping labels being printed prior to the products being shipped to me. It sounds as though they are delivering the product, just not in any amount of reasonable timeframe and without any reasonable communication. Those two reasons alone are sufficient to never do business with a company.

I too would pursue getting a refund for the "expedited" charges!

Indeed, I have received a "shipping label" which means absolutely nothing. I ended up going to the credit card company and claiming a fraudulent company, which they were. The label was simply a means for them to buy time.

Fuck PayPal.
-Used a credit card through PayPal to buy something
-PayPal flagged as fraud and didn't place the order
-Told PayPal it wasn't fraud, so they placed the order but pulled directly from our checking account emptying and overdrafting the account. Instead of the credit card it was supposed to go on
-Told PayPal they fucked up, they agreed they fucked up but said they couldn't and/or wouldn't fix it
-Used the sister in laws business to charge the credit card because it's the only way we could figure out how to charge the card and then she sent us the money. But we had covered the $150 credit card fees so the SIL didn't get screwed.
-Made the wife cancel the PayPal account immediately after this.

TL:DR PayPal screwed up and it cost us $150 to fix their fuckup because they wouldn't.

Yep, had an online purchase that I used PP for a couple years ago, funded Paypal with my CC, company was super slow to respond to emails didn't answer phone ever, called CC and finally got it fixed. Ordered from a different business...screw Paypal as they are very slow and often don't care...eh we got your money...get bent.

OP, don't wait to call CC, hope it ends well for you.

point is, they have only one-star reviews (3 of them!).
why would anyone pay for that?

i might not weight their listings heavily if they were all good, but if someones reviews there are exclusively bad,..

Just want to point out that BBB is unreliable as you can pay to have only the reviews you want on their site. Its a for profit business that cares more about money than it does actually protecting consumers.

Oh yea the fact they dont even care to pay bbb to manipulate the data is for sure a thing. However knowing the bbb isnt a reliable source is important.
