Not photoshopped (at least not privately, maybe Photo shopped professionally for the brochure). This photo is from the Mopar brochure for the Wrangler JL. I have one from the Chicago Auto Show.

This is most likely Sting Gray, for sure, as it is not Granite (no flake) and not Billet either.
Looks pretty good !

I don't know... I think this is just weird lighting on granite. It's also odd that there's no Rubicon on the jeep,... Maybe jeep cleaned up the image to remove the flake....

Well why would Jeep create a very flaky colour to then « remove it » from some pictures ?!?!
Between the people who try to see SG everywhere and the ones who deny seeing it anywhere, Jeep really needs to end the suspense and show us SG ASAP !

No idea. If you look at the pictures we have seen jeep release of punkn orange... The actual color seems far off. I have no idea what they'e doing or why the secrecy. I think I'm going to order a billet tomorrow. I can't keep waiting for this mystery

Most likely granite, I’d bet zero
Dollars on that being an accurate representation of sting gray.

Its a Mopar parts brochure, hence no Rubicon badging on the hood, probably touched up as well.

At this point I wouldn’t be surprised if Sting Grey was released as a 15th anniversary edition color

Yup, and for all we know it’s as accurate as the pumpkin color, not sure if you’ve followed that thread but the renderings aren’t close.

Saw this on IG don’t know if it’s legit, but looks good
That seems darker than I expected but we will see I guess. It does almost seem like odd lighting of a granite shot.

This color might be my choice- I’ll have to see some actual images of it when they start rolling out though- the configurator shows a pretty dark gray swatch but then rendering of the Jeep itself changes to what appears to be a light gray - That’s definitely not helpful, and I’m sure I’m not alone on that one.

I’d definitely prefer a darker tone without going full black. I kinda lean towards darker tones or earthy tones.

If it’s like the post above, then I believe I might have my color picked.

The wait won’t bother me since I probably won’t be actually buying one for at least several months to a year.

Bottom picture looks like Sting-Gray, Top Pic looks like a darker shade of Sting-Gray. But like others have mentioned these catalogs weren't an accurate representation of Punk'n.

We plan to wait and see this color. They are just now about to start building 2 doors anyways so what is the extra wait to see this color. I will be doing the 2.0l as well and the hardtop they make first if this fits the soft top time line I might opt out if the hard top and save a little money. This will be my fun daily commuter and will prob keep half doors and open 70% of the year in Texas

Do you have a dealer in mind in Texas?

I have searched all over for best price and not being tied to financing. For my location it is to go see Kim In Little Rock. It was the best price overall for my situation

I heard she’s great. But I have a trade and that seems to complicate things. My last out of state deal didn’t involve a trade so the thought of going out of state seems more complicated now.
