I’m equally curious as to why not simply pull fuse 42 and the auxiliary battery and be done with this nonsense.
A 20ah battery can push 1 amp for 20 hours. The remote start, FOB radio, UConnect, security system, alternator and battery cross charge will discharge the auxiliary battery frequently. It’s just the number of discharge cycles and how hard you bounce that lil AGM that dictates when it fails and if it takes the main with it….
I understand elimination is not “fixing” and I spent two years trying to avoid redesigning my Jeep but swapping batteries every six months and being told by the dealer folk, “It’s a Jeep thing”, I gave up.
