I’m equally curious as to why not simply pull fuse 42 and the auxiliary battery and be done with this nonsense.

A 20ah battery can push 1 amp for 20 hours. The remote start, FOB radio, UConnect, security system, alternator and battery cross charge will discharge the auxiliary battery frequently. It’s just the number of discharge cycles and how hard you bounce that lil AGM that dictates when it fails and if it takes the main with it….

I understand elimination is not “fixing” and I spent two years trying to avoid redesigning my Jeep but swapping batteries every six months and being told by the dealer folk, “It’s a Jeep thing”, I gave up.

You’ll get there too OP……

@CarbonSteel If you don't mind can you elaborate on how you mounted the winch disconnect?
When I installed the Genesis system I moved my Roam relay to a spot I'm happy with but my winch disconnect location I'm not pleased with. I like where yours is located. Feel free to DM if this is too far off topic.
TIA
Here is my post on it and the template for the mounting plate is at the very end.

I did modify the wiring on the disconnect itself and will get a pic and post it soonest.

Definitely a blown N3 fuse. After moving the N3 cable to N4, I had to do a 150 mile trip today. No errors and the voltage trickled down from 13.9v to between 13.0v and 13.1v about halfway through the trip. It goes up to 14.1v to 14.4v when coasting.

Fairly confident this happened when I changed the bad auxiliary battery. I bought a new fuse array today ($85) and will replace it soon. I was going to buy a second spare, but will keep the blown one as a spare noting that N3 is blown so use N4.

Based upon all of this, I am going to leave the system as-is because it is working now that I replaced the bad battery and mitigated the N3 issue.

@Rhinebeck01 - Thanks again for your help!
