I have 2021 JLUR with 2" Mopar lift and 37" tires. I added front upper and lower adjustable control arms and a front adjustable track bar. Had the front control arms adjusted to increase castor to 6.0 degrees to improve the steering. When I had the alignment done I noticed the thrust angle was high (0.23 degrees) and I wanted to lower that value. Would adding an adjustable rear track bar lower the thrust angle, or would it also need adjustable rear lower control arms?

Thanks for any advice.

I had a similar experience with my thrust angle at .31* after a lift. I also installed a geo correction bracket and adjustable trackbar when I put on the lift but wasn’t very careful about centering the rear axle (it poked passenger 1/3” more). Dealt with it for a while and @Roky pointed out in another thread that an off center axle will change your thrust angle because it essentially pivots on the rear UCAs & LCAs. If you don’t have either of those items to center your rear axle adding one should help. I got mine down to .07* after spending some time tweaking the TB. Then had the front alignment redone. Now it drives very nice.

Adding a rear track bar and getting the rear end centered should get you under 10. To get it perfect you need all 4 rear control arms. The frames on these things have a +/- 10 mm tolerance. I have seen literally 100’s of these things on frame rack measuring systems and it’s sickening how far out of square some of these things are from the factory.
