I have done some search, but my google-fu is failing me. I have a few very specific questions:

1. On the rear - how exactly do you measure the pinion angle? anyone with a picture would be very helpful. I have no idea what exactly I am measuring and what the ideal number I should be shooting for. I have a digital angle finder.

2. Per Claton, I should be adjusting the UCA to adjust the pinion angle (rear). With Jeep on the ground, any tips on how to achieve this? Let's say I need to make the UCA longer, how am I supposed to muscle the entire axel with the Jeep sitting on her own weight? I am having enough trouble installing the UCA when the suspension is in the air, but I can articulate the axel with floor jack.

Easiest way to adjust CAs I've found. ON THE GROUND Chocked. Disco and adjust one arm at a time. Set up the control arm for install. Force the axle the direction you want by rolling the tire (obviously remove the chock in that direction). Need to be in neutral for the rear.

The added lever arm from the tire makes it WAY easier than using a ratchet strap in the air.

Pinion angle is measured relative to the driveshaft. It will very too depending on a double cardon aftermarket shaft VS stock. The stock is a 2 joint style.

Thank you everyone for the pointers. I measured mine, little less than 2 degrees. I did not have to adjust the pinion angle, just followed Clayton's specified length and thats where it landed at. The DS is stock and from what I can tell, 1-2 degrees is what we should be aiming for.

I am going to leave it alone unless there are any vibrations in the DS.
