With planning, it has taken me three days to remove 8 bolts to pull my front bumper, sand blast it, and paint it,install new fog lights (8 nuts to remove and put back on) and put the bumper back on. I still need to tightenn the bumper bolts today and plug in the lights.
Jeez… slow down and take your time.

Right. I could have finished yesterday, but as I was getting ready to tighten down the bumper bolts, My wife said, hey lets go get Nachos for dinner.

Edit... update. Its raining out so I might no wrap up the bumper reinstall today.

I gave my retirement notice today after staring at the email I penned this morning for an hour before sending it. So it's official. March 28th ends a 50 year (9 to 5) career.
Done!

Joined the infantry during wartime, rather be healthy than retire. Feels like a full time job managing pain everyday.

I do both, a bunch of weight and movement training. Eat good and be retired. I am in better shape than most 20 year old today while being retired. I hit the scale a couple days ago at 267 pounds and 21% body fat.

27 years US Navy, 17 as a Helicopter Crewchief before being grounded for multiple back surgeries. Being a "little" guy with a big can do attitude my body has taken a beating. Many Surgeries to fix overuse. First Knee replacement is next month. Been retired 20 years and 2 months now. Retiring in my 40's a lot of people challenged me about not working, but I would not have traded it for the world. I did not need gobs of money to be happy and I have done so much in the last 20 years. Work is seriously over rated

trying to, but it's hard when you only sleep 3-4 hours a day
Funny you should say that. I typically sleep 4 to 5 hours each night for the last 30 or so years. After seeing a bunch of adds for grounding sheets, (super expensive in my view.) I looked on amazon and found a grounding mat that I sleep on top of. Think like a piece of cloth the length of my body that you put on top of my sheet and sleep on it. I bought if for $25 on sale. I started using it about a week ago. I am now consistently sleeping 6 to 7 hours now. I also sleep straight through the night.

The jury is still out, but I am liking it so far. Maybe check it out and read up on grounding sheets.
