Coworker that i used to call a lot unfortunately had to quit due to health reasons and now I'm trying to remove him from my speed dials on the uconnect screen but can't seem to figure out how.

Would love for someone to chime in and make me feel really stupid about now!

I can't help you because I've never been able to get saved contacts to last more than a few days on Uconnect. How the hell did you get yours to save in the first place? Seriously, this has been a problem of mine for 4 years across 2 Jeeps.

Not sure what to tell you, I even have two different phones that connect to it that both have their own saved contacts on speed dial. Just can't make them go away now lol

I would assume if you clicked on the contact there would be an option to remove him. Should be that easy, but maybe it's not. I'll play around with mine tomorrow.

Try holding your finger down on the contact for a few extra seconds, similar to setting a radio preset? ?‍♂

If you’re using an iPhone, go to your phone app then click favorites at the bottom.

for me, these are the contacts that show on speed dial. To add/remove from Uconnect speed dial, this is where I do it

Finally figured it out this morning for anyone who might have issues in the future. For the record this is with the 7" uconnect 4 and an android phone.

And yes, I do feel a bit stupid, but i always knew that would be the outcome after I committed to posting about it. ?

1. Tap phonebook on the uconnect screen
2. On the left side of the screen, select favorites.
3. Tap the cogwheel
4. "Remove from Fav"

So #2 is different from the suggestion in the post above, but it did get me looking for the right things. Not sure if its different due to android vs. iOS, or maybe my uconnect app is on a different version. Who knows. Either way, thanks!

Same with my 21 JLU. Dealer kept telling me it's a known glitch they haven't fixed yet. I reloaded contacts into that thing several painstaking times only to have them disappear the next time I started the engine. Also have to reconnect phone frequently. Love my Rubi, but that bit of tech is garbage.
