Take it in under warranty. That's not "wear and tear".

I moved my knife to my front pocket due to seat wear.

Think I'd be very tempted to try pulling the line downward and using a needle to 'stuff' the remaining loose thread into the lower stitch hole. No clue if that's a terrible idea or not, just that it seemed better than my likely first instinct of just cutting or burning it.

Possibly a drop of super glue at ends of threads at seat. Stuffing the loose thread in would be good to do too. Wear is going to happen if you drive it. I've sat out stitching up the edge of my LJ driver's seat a few times. That seat is threadbare on edge from many many miles w my ass in it. Seat covers is about the only thing that helps it to last. Hopefully you find the best option for it.

Scissors, then tack it with superglue

Go to an upholstery shop. They will walk the stitch back up with a hoop/hook. DO NOT cut it or touch it, they can fix this.

It was in the front pocket left side. now I moved it to right
That's where I wear mine. Almost tore out a chunk of my steering wheel when I jumped into the Jeep too briskly about two months ago.
Didn't notice it until I started driving as I didn't feel it hit. About freaked me out as it looked really bad but over time it smoothed back out.
It's pretty much unnoticeable now unless I look for that area of the steering wheel. Now I'm much more careful getting in and out of the jeep.
