How to fix scuff on steel bumper

So as I was backing out of the driveway i turned the wheel a little too hard and ended up ripping the side frame of the garage door
Nothing wrong with the Jeep except there's a white scuff on the steel bumper that doesn't come out with a wet rag. What can I use on it to get it out?

I fixed it with a can of Rustoleum Truck Bed coating spray. I put a nice scratch in my steel bumper, and this tuned it up to where you can barely notice where I scratched it unless you specifically look for it.

Use your wife’s clothes steamer, steam the white paint. Continue to rub the area as the transferred paint softens. Most likely it is latex paint.

No idea if it will work on steel, but I have a buddy that swears magic erasers takes surface scratches out of anything.

Thanks. I tried it and it took off some of it. There’s still a little there. I’ll try some wd40 next
