Hi Lydia,

Assuming we are both looking at dealer data diagrams below then Yes

1761692485430-xs.webp

#12 = 68368993AG
And the upper tailgate seal you are asking about is 68251538AE (not shown above)

Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Thank you,
- Benny

Hi Benny,

A friend of mine just gave me 80% of a JL 3 Piece Front Steel Bumper (82215121AH). Unfortunately, he left some of the parts behind, through them out, or just kept them.

I need to buy a right(68325051AB) and left (68325052AD) bumper bracket. I can't tell from the diagrams what I need to attach it.

I think I need U nuts (6509394AA), Hex Head Bolt And Washers (6105098AA), Hex Weld Nut (6101916). I may also need a different U nut (6105244AA). It looks like each of these bumper brackets is attached with 10 bolts. On this picture it's 6,7,8,9,11. I may also need 68355472AA(#10 in this diagram)

Any help would be appreciated.

Here is the bottom of #14 where you can see I have 5 open holes. I'm assuming all 5 attach to 11, but if that's not the case, I do want to plug all 5 holes.

Here is the bracket from the backside. I need to bolts, nuts, etc to all of these areas (green, blue, and red).

Thank you.

Hi Matt,
My diagrams are no better than yours unfortunately, The part number you have are correct except I dont think 6101916 will be needed as this is a weld in nut. Yes I do think you will need 68355472AA. Some hardware has specs so I listed them below to possibly help

Bolt 68355472AA M8x30 (this is the domed hex head bolt)
Bolt 6105098AA M6x1.00x25

U Nut 6509394AA Unknown
U Nut 6105244AA M8x1.25
Weld Nut 6101916 M8x1.25

All parts can be ordered here https://parts.allmoparparts.com/

I will Pm you a code you can use.

Hi Benny - I was routed to this thread while looking for answers to my question about the rear window in my 2020 Wrangler. I purchased this vehicle used from a dealer not knowing that the previous owner replaced the back glass with a JK piece of glass instead of the proper JL version. The difference is in the bottom seal. The bar that is affixed to the glass is different between the JK and the JL. There was no rubber strip on the bar at the bottom of the glass and I didn't realize that until after I had purchased it, so the dealer fell back on "as is". Now I'm trying to find a way to achieve a seal without replacing the entire window.

I purchased the rubber gasket for my 2020 before I knew it wouldn't fit on the bar. So, I see my options as follows:

1. Replace the glass with the correct JL version ($$$$)
2. Try to remove the bar affixed to the window and replace it with the JL version so my gasket will fit. I'm not sure if this bar is even available to purchase.
3. Purchase the gasket for the JK window and see if it creates a decent enough seal.

Do you know if #2 is even possible?

Do you know if #3 is possible - to pick up a seal for the JK and have it fit properly on my JL?

Thank you for your assistance!

Oh - and the Mopar part number I keep finding for my vehicle is: 68499742AA. I can't tell if that is just the rubber gasket or the whole bar it mounts to as well.

Hi Rich,
I didnt even know this was possible and have no way of researching if these parts are interchangeable with each other. From our parts data we can clearly see that no parts are interchangeable with the JK and JL in this area of the vehicle.

The seal you mentioned 68499742AA is correct for the JL rear lower glass seal. If you would like a price on the glass assembly I would need your VIN Please.

Hi Benny,

I have a 2025 Rubicon that needs a new steering wheel control module. My dealer said the part (68599295AA) is on backorder. Any way to tell how far out this is? It looks to me like its available on several Mopar websites so I’m also confused of its true status. Thanks for your help!

Hi,

I think I need a new "Center Stack" - i.e. the climate control switches underneath the radio/video display. A couple of the physical switches "stick in" when pressed, and then the rest of the switches stop working correctly. I pulled it out and physically gave it a mild "twist" to force the buttons to reset, and everything "worked fine" until I press the "mute" or "recirculate" or "rear defrost" buttons again. It "looks fine" but I suspect I may have physically damaged the unit somehow by carrying some long pieces of lumber in the center of the jeep and they bumped up against those switches.

Looking on allmoparparts, there's like a dozen possible choices. If I PM you my VIN, can you figure out which one I need?

Thanks.

Hi Mike,
There are a few unknowns about this. As mentioned this is a factory order option described as Sales Code LS9 - THATCHAM SECURITY EQUIPMENT. When trying to research the factory cylinder and hardware for this option I am unable to find anything listed. I think this may be a rare export or governmental option. With that said I am not sure if the accessory lock kit will line up and work with that grille opening.

If you would like to give it a try let me know and I will send a coupon code you can use,
- Benny

@MikesMojito Did you end up going with this?

@Jay_Jeep Tagging you here for visibility
