I have no idea on why they are mentioning cruise control, I just did a quick search on disabling MDS and didn't know that you could do it by going with the shifter and also by going with a tune

They did have a link to toms4x4superstore in TN and they had a 21 392 that they did a cam/lifter change in order to get rid of the MDS. There is a short video of it I believe on FB but for some reason I can not get on their site..

Cam lifter change only as a last resort due to CARB and no at least stage 2 cam upgrade for the cost without flunking the F’ing Smog Check ? Hell- a stage 1 might flunk, too big a gamble unless there is an approved one I don’t know about. I have researched, but not extensively. I have watched some worthless videos. Tunes as expected, one idjit made a big deal of Manual Shift disabling for Free, no tune needed .. ….. I immediately subscribed noting his knowledge and brilliance.

I'm looking for the plastic bracket on the right rear interior next to the rear seat belt spool. It supports an electronics module and also the trim 6BM34TX7AB clips into it. The module might be TMPS or a seat belt tensioner or for the rear air bags. It's hard to know what category to find the bracket - 99% of the search is finding out what it is called.

Thanks Benny - one more thing - what else do I need to make swapping grills with a camera easier back and forth? I think there's the washer fluid nozzle and quick disconnect. Do you have links to those also? Is there anything else related to the camera (besides the actual camera)?

Note, I'm swapping between my 2024 grille (new connectors?) that came with a camera and the older model grille that I will paint black.

Note, I'm swapping between my 2024 grille (new connectors?) that came with a camera and the older model grille that I will paint black.

There is a camera bracket specific to the 24's PN 68566612AA. Youll have to re-route the wiring and use a few zip ties as the 24 harness is routed differently. Other than that we have not heard of any issues.
