Benny— I have a 21 pre XR 392. It does not disable MDS in OR+. Getting multiple reports of 21–24 XR’s disabling MDS in OR+ the dealer “updated vehicle sales code to the recon package” . Calibration for 4.56’s and 35’s corrected but no MDS disable in OR+. Checking for ECM difference I find only one for 21-22 models listed #68480920AC— replaces AA-AB. Please help— the OR+ mode use purpose is defeated by MDS. Thanks Mike

I can check your ECM # by VIN but this may not mean much because ECM's these days come blank like a harddrive and the software is downloaded in by the tech upon installation at the dealer.

Thanks Benny- 1C4JJXSJ6MW761716- if mine is an AA or even AB is it possible it won’t accept it, like it did the recal ? possibly AB for the early XR’s ? and AC will accept the full “recon package” download ? ? will you’re checking determine if it will ? It would be expensive to not work. Effort appreciated- Mike

If mine is an AA I will take the $1000 gamble, I hate 4cyl so much I likely will if an AB .
