Late 2018 2.0L JLUS build - 34,000+mi and still strong including a 2mos 11,525mi coast to coast road trip and several days of moderate trailing in the desert.

I'm due for new tires on my next oil change interval. Cracked windshield 11mos in. May go aftermarket I hear they hold up better.

I see you guys proud of having no issues, with under 30k miles. . Well, I havent had any issues either, and I have around 13k, bought new in 9/2018, but I'm not tooting the "All's Well" horn yet. If I hit say 90k, without an issue, then that is great. My wife has had three new vehicles over the past 16 years, that have hit around 100k each, without any major issues, then again, they were a Honda, Nissan, and Toyota. All ultra reliable. Me, I've had an 06 Dodge Diesel truck, with over 185k miles, and no issues to speak of.
I think these Wranglers are getting too complicated, with sensitive equipment. Sure, when the work, they work great, but when they don't, they leave you stranded. Or Jeeps have stiff suspensions, which rattle the crap out of everything, and possibly reduce the life expectancy of our electronics. Reminds me of an 86 Corvette I had. Non stop gremlins. I miss the days of less complexity, and being able to work on things, easily, at home.

I noticed a slight engine noise around 31km to 35km. And it progressed as the weather got colder then just before xmas it was noticeably loud. My exact km reading is around 38500km. So it progressed rather quickly I would say.

Since there is not much insulation in the jeep from the exterior noises it is quite noticable. Due to not being able to get a rental vehicle or being able to take time off of work I ignored it untill I had time off over Christmas.

Being such a new vehicle if there is anything more that happens to it during the warranty time I will bring it in to the mechanics as soon as things come up. I want my jlu to last as long as possible.

Good luck with that. Please keep us posted how you resolved this issue.

I am about 14L/100km - 16.8 gal - but I drive a short distance to work and no hwy , I am going to experiment and fill up with premium gas and I am sure the mileage will improve but then again overall fuel cost may be still better with regular gas

I use premium and this is what I get! Well I run 35s and a 2 1/2 inch so it’s my tradeoff.

There is a guy on the Gladiator side who is probably well past 100k by now. He drives a chase vehicle for wind turbine blade transports. He literally lives in his JT when at work, sleeping in the back seat. He's in love with it and has had zero issues. I'll check in on him and see where he's at now.

I'm betting he puts half a million miles on that thing in pretty short order.

Almost at 56k in my 2018 built in late 2017. Dead aircard in the UConnect and a busted seat latch are my only problems.

Today I filled up again with regular because the 20% higher cost for premium wouldn't make the Jeep 20% less thirsty. I did reset the fuel economy gage and drove like an old lady for couple of days and I noticed the fuel economy improved by about 10 % to 15 %.. In the summer I am generally at around 12 l/100km and winter 14l/100km and that's the slightly lighter 2dr with stock wheels and that's driving like a healthy non paranoid male.
