I'm a bit embarrassed every time I pull out my $20 Slime air compressor for the 30 minute air up after a day on the trails. So I would gladly test and review a @tozalazz. My initial test would be after a 5 night camping trip in Big Bend National Park this summer.
Took mine off about a week after getting it. Used some heat and they came off easy with no sticky residue left. You can see where the sticker was if you look closely.
A few logistical things to consider:
Black Gap:
Look into a campsite ASAP at Big Bend. Arriving late in the day means you should reserve online if you want to be close to Black Gap, especially if you want a roadside backcountry site close to one end of the road. Front country campsites are...
I have the same sound noted in this latest video. Dod you figure anything out? Mine started a few months back and is primarily in 1,2, or 3rd gear and when the rpm’s are low. 95k miles here, so no warranty. Usually use Costco gas 87 octane, but have used other brands with no change.
Toasting the finest campsite ever! (Despite the crazy strong wind)
I am still editing pics from my camera so the cell phone shots will have to due for now.
I did air down to 20 leaving the pavement in Big Water just for comfort and aired back up in Escalante. I stayed aired up for the Burr Tr...
I’ve been needing one of these as well but haven’t purchased yet. Here’s what I had found. Looks like you may have to purchase the whole trim piece to get the cover.

Here are some pics. I have 315/70R17 STT Pros. The poke about 2” on my JLUR. Please note that Rubi axels are a little longer than Sport and Sahara. Hope this helps.
Yes all the way to the Hole in the Rock. Easily doable with 35’s or stock for that matter. It was a pretty impressive story and amazing feat. Hard to even imagine.
I travel solo most of the time so I just use a sleeping pad and bag in the back with the seats down.
Just got back from an 8 night, 2500 mile trip from Austin to Utah and back. Slept in the Jeep the entire trip and explored Glen Canyon, Grand Staircase Escalante, Hole in the Rock Road, The Burr Trail, The Waterpocket Fold, Bears Ears, and Monument Valley. Loved every minute of it and...
March of 2018 and I Love it like day 1. 74000 miles and counting! Battery replacement, rear defrost tab, 2 cracked windshields. Still drives like it’s new!
