I'm trying to find the best tailgate Hi-Lift jack mount that is compatible with my 2025 Wrangler JL Willys. This is what the back looks like. I have Rubicon style wheels and tires (I think the tires are 33). I know they are bigger than the stock tires. I just need to know which one would fit this set up. Any help and advice would be greatly appreciated.

While not a tailgate mount, I really like the Dominion Offroad system. Fits very nicely in back, even makes a kind of shelf for soft items, tarps, etc.

Teraflex makes one. But not compatible with a hinge reinforced kit. Available at Quadratec and Extreme Terrain

I see a lot of Jeeps adorned with Hilift jacks with no points on the vehicle capable of safely accepting a Hilift for jacking. I suspect a number of those Hilift owners haven’t been trained to use or practiced to use a Hilift safely. A decent bottle jack or scissor jack that’s more robust than the OEM jack may be a better alternative although without the cool factor.

You'd be better off with an S hook to hang your purse on the back.

I’d need something more robust for my off road purse. It’s full of trail snacks.
You could do something like this. Their hi lift must be strapped to the front...🤔

⬆ This.
I have used a hi-lift for over 10 years and still managed to almost bite off my tongue and shatter my teeth when it slipped and the handle hit me in the bottom of my jaw.

The bottle jack is the only thing I use now.

Dang you were lucky. I do carry a hilift on a dominion mount out of view so no cool guy points, but a HMMWV scissor jack is what I use. I have front and rear bumpers with hilift receiver points but still would rather not use it. I have an attachment for the Hilift base to debead a tire which I have used in the garage and hope to never use on the trail.

Ouch.

I use a Hi Lift mainly for managing getting my utility trailer onto/off of blocks mostly these days and like 3 or 4 months ago had my first issue with the jack kicking out from under it and the trailer coming off and knocking me over. Been using a Hi Lift for between 10 and 15 years for various Jeep and non-Jeep things and I'm always careful with them, but man are they touchy.

I use this top mount set up which is rock solid for the longest H lift

Have you considered how you would use that jack? It looks like you have factory front/rear bumpers and rails. None of those are good for using with a Hi Lift.

The Terry is worth repeating...

I originally purchased it as a backpack to the winch and I have an accessory that lifts the tire in addition to an accessory that makes it compatible

I had high lift jacks that came standard in the two old 70s cars I drove as a teenager, 75 Buick Century and a 73 Gran Torino station wagon. I changed many re-tread tires on that wagon so I am very experienced in the use of the older OEM jacks from that era. However those cars had steel bumpers and a notch the jack would fit into on each corner of the vehicles. I havn't seen how those things work not on Jeeps, I have steel bumpers but no notches for a jack. Is there something I would need to add to the Jeep in order to use one if I ever got the itch to buy one. My hydrolic jack is a little short for jacking up the front so I use a 2x4 to make up the difference but it works fine on the rear. Just curious.
