Hemi swap by Dakota customs

Hey everyone, so I’m currently looking to swap a 5.7 hemi into my 3.6 powered Jeep. I’m kinda set my heart onto the Dakota customs kit since I want to do the swap myself. But ran into an issue of getting hold of the guy, I’ve called and emailed him multiple times over a three week period, trying to answer some questions of the kit. Has anyone else had this issue with them before, or does anyone recommend someone better for hemi swaps. Thanks in advance, pic of my Jeep for attn

That’s what I’m afraid of, at this point which sucks since they were the only one that does diy swaps

If you can’t reach him when you’re looking to buy, that suggests after purchase support would be zero…

everything you need to know is in their lack of response, unless they have a real good reason like family stuff.

I used one of their kits to swap a new JT last spring. Dan always replied quickly with answers to my questions. Have you used the contact info from the Dakota-Customs website?

The swap is time consuming but went very smoothly. Haven't had a single issue. Not even a leak.

That’s really strange. They always replied. Maybe they have something temporary going on.

This is my 2023 Mojave. I swapped it with 500 miles on the odometer. It’s got 6500 on it now.

According to a post on FB about 5weeks ago, the shop was just dissolved, unannounced, by Revolution Paradox after they bought it last year.

I talked to Dan on 11/14/24. I just emailed him to see if they are open and got a message his email was undeliverable.

The phone for them has been disconnected as well. I'm trying to track down someone who used to be at the shop, I am mid-swap and we had just decided to go 8spd along with the Hemi, now I am stuck with a motorless corpse of a wrangler with a harness that won't work for the 8spd and I am unsure of whether or not the ecu needs to be re-flashed to go 8spd or not. This was a gut punch when I found out. The stuff we got from there was very good quality, but it would have been nice to get some contact info when they found out they were a gonner

I contacted revolution paradox about two weeks ago, spoke to some I believe sales rep who didn’t really know what was happening and was supposed to contact me back, never got a call back, so far it seems like this company is just disappeared

I'm basically in the same boat as yourself. I've been researching since the middle of 2024 and it seems like none of the companies exist. Same as yourself, Dakota Customs never returned my messages last year. That turned me to this thread:

...where a forum user works(ed) for a company (Tank Customs) that was doing a couple of HEMI builds. When you went to their website last year, it basically looked like this:

OK...so I thought Dakota Customs sold out to this company as well as Tank Customs, so I reached out to them as well as sent an internal email to the user. Still no answer from anyone at this point.

The website since then has removed the information shown above and is now just a simple splash screen.
