Hello anyone who can offer some advice in September I was looking for a new vehicle a jeep wrangler I went to a dealer they told me they ordered three new ones July 13, 2022 wrangler two door. In September they told me it would be shipped October 4, 2022. Then they told me they would give me the Vin number and I could check on the status and it got pushed out to October 22 22 when I went on and put in my last name and vin number , it says it was scheduled for a build September 30 and nothing else is on there the paperwork I have from the dealership says Deferm schedule serial number is assigned. Field priority is 99 this paper they gave me was weeks ago now they're saying the dealer that is that they're scheduled to be built when they told me it was already built and I was waiting on shipping can anyone please tell me when to expect this car or what I should do at this point I cannot go another two months without a car as I sold mine two weeks after I ordered this vehicle that they said was already being shipped there and already built I put a deposit down and I just don't know what to do without a car and have no window of anything the dealer is not being helpful and there's nothing on the build site that tells me anything either

If you shop around and see if there is a Jeep on a lot somewhere that is not sold....I see dealerships with some on the lot...not lots of options....or talk to a different dealer and purchase one they know is being shipped. I just did that with a new Subaru...found it online 3 hours away...money down and went to pick it up when it got off the truck.

I believe car companies are trying to shift into the order business and get out of the dealership business....you order and it gets shipped to a service center....cut back on the middle man!
