Just installed the rear Ultimate Dana 60 AdvanTEK rear axle and Ultimate Dana 44 AdvanTEK axle package on my '21 JLURD. Front axle locker wiring connected fine. Rear 60 has a 2 pin connecting while the factory loom is a 4 pin. Axle came with a 2 pin connector and about 10 feet of wiring but no instructions. Dana support has been no help.
Anyone know what I need to do?

2 choices.

A) Wire up the pigtail that came with the axle to an aux switch. This gives you direct control over the locker but leaves you with a blinky light on the dash if you use the factory locker switch.

B) Get a Z Locker bypass harness. Plug the one end into the frame side. Cut off the other end and wire the pigtail they gave you in its place. This leaves the rubicon locker switch functional without a blinky light on the dash.

I bought the bypass loom a couple years ago just in case so I'll give it a try!
Thanks!

I've never pulled one apart so I don't know what wires go from the harness to the axle inside the loom or what order they are in.

All you need is the locker power and ground coming out of the harness to those two wires in the pigtail. If you have a hard time figuring it out I'd give the Z automotive folks a shout. They may be able to help you.

If you can find the wiring diagram for the connector, that should also tell you which pin from the 4 pin harness to use in the 2 pin pigtail.

The Z-Locker adaptor for after market axles works perfectly for the Dana 60. It has a 4 prong on one side and 2 on the other making it plug and play. It also allows you to use the factory Rubicon switch. I used it both in front and the rear when I installed my UD 60’s. Been over a year and it works perfectly every time.
