I cannot seem to figure out how to disconnect the brake controller on the dash. I accidentally discovered it a year ago but I’ve just spent way too much time trying to figure out the latch(es) to remove the body from the knob.

anyone know how? I’ve searched google and the forums and haven’t found the info… lots of install info, no disconnecting info. I’m sure there is info on this in the dealer service manual which I don’t have

I don’t want to be rude but no it doesn’t. I’m not sure if you missed the fact that I’ve already got it installed (per my first post: a year ago) and I’m looking to disconnect the switch, like you would a cable from its female connector. I’m struggling to find the latch(es) I need to press to pull the wired switch away from the dial.
The install instructions do not have info on how to disconnect the switch for servicing, I had already checked before starting this thread.

Did you by chance figure this out?? Buddy of mine is getting rid of his Jeep and said I can have it if I swap my outlet in.
