Hi everyone, this is my first time posting on here.
So recently took ownership of a 2024 4xe in Bikini blue. Me being me I had a vision for the jeep from day one. I immediately started making small modifications to the vehicle. Just this weekend I decided to add red accents to the hinges, handles, and a few other bits to go along with the red seat and steering wheel cover i added on day one. I personally love it, however the better half isn't a fan and thinks it looks like a clown car... What do you guys think?

I got yer back:

I forgot I ran it without the Rich&Reserve bottle caps and subsequent LED lights for quite some time.

I guess then I should say that it was just coat hanger fender flares for quite some time, though I only ran it completed for a short minute. Completed being the final stage which made it the Scepter lights!

Looking back at them, looks like they were only on for about a month in their completed form.

Here's a zoomed in photo. You can really make out the Rich&Reserve caps, which gave it that scepter look.

Bundled 'er all back up, except now I have no AM/FM signal until I can order a wire that will work.

Funny how it takes like 3-4 hours to disassemble the Jeep, but takes me less than an hour to put it back together.

It may or may not have something to do with this being the 5th time I've taken my hood off, and the 7th or 8th time I've undone the fender bolts for various reasons.

I'm doing a little more research into the lengths of these coaxial antenna cables. I need one 2 ft long, with a single male and if I can help it. If not I'm trying to figure out how to safely without destroying it, disassemble the male and I currently have. The female end however doesn't really matter because as it turns out, the dudes at the Wrangler factory just made their own female end to connect to all of our antenna mounts. If you ever pull yours apart, it's welded together with spare parts!

But yeah so for now, no more AM/FM radio until I get this finished. Which doesn't hurt me too bad because I typically only listen to my YouTube music playlists anyways.
As an added note, I have all the materials at this point to complete my hidden DIY radio antenna, I've just been really lazy about it. It's going to involve me removing my hood again, the windshield wiper motor cover trim piece thingy, and then I'm going to have to loosen the passenger side fender also, and drill yet another hole into the Wrangler. It's just a big project. I'm waiting for a weekend where I don't have anything to do and I'm willing to dedicate the 8 hours it will take me to do all that.. also too I'll have to actually make my DIY antenna. Again I have the all the supplies for that as well, it's just a process of putting it together.

So yeah as you can see, I do some weird shit! ? ;)

In my opinion, the colors clash and there is no flow to it. It looks like your Jeep got hockey picks or something. Red wheels and running boards will not help.

That being said, I’ve seen worse.

I removed every bit of red from my Rubi excluding the jeep in my JTR wheels, the original red shocks, and dash. All the logos and graphics as well.

It’s just what I prefer. If you like the red, then go nuts… do what makes YOU happy.

I'd rather be a blissfully ignorant clown than make all my decisions based on what I think other people will think.

I wouldn't say "clown car" but the decal reminds me a bit of a saw blade slammer. ?

As a resident bikini owner and lover I'll settle this. It's bikini GREEN not blue. If anyone needs proof, go have a ppg paint store mix up a can of color match spray paint. The ppt code returns bikini green in their system even.

Couldn't agree more with you. Couldn't help but notice the parking in your profile pic either....lmao!

That should be very obvious that the pic is a dealer picture and was staged at that location to take the pics.

2021 sticker and a few others on the windshield. Dealer building in the background.

NOT his parking job.
