Waiting Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 4xe MY22, Volvo XC60
Hi Everyone:

My name is Antonio, I am from Spain and this is the first time that I write in a forum, I have been reading the forum for a long time because all my life I have wanted a Jeep Wrangler, it was one of the cars of my dreams, but for one reason or another whenever I changed cars, I never got to buy a Jeep, here in Spain it is difficult to order one, something happened every time, but finally this time I was able to order it as I wanted, I ordered it 3 weeks ago and now I'm waiting for "El Auto" hehehe, hypothetically it goes into production in week 13 and I expect delivery here in early June, fingers crossed!!!

I bought a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon 4xe in High Velocity, black leather with all the extras available here.

I am now looking to decide on auxiliary lights to have this here at the latest at the same time as my Jeep, my options are:

A-Pillar:
Roof:
One of these 2 options:
Is there any comparison between these two bars?
OnX6+ 50" Driving/Combo LED Light Bar, I want this because of the powerful looks like
Questions:
Arc or Normal?
Does anyone have photos of this bar on the side? I found a hundred photos in front but none on the side
S8, 50" Driving Combo LED Light Bar, I want this for aesthetics and mostly because of the yellow backlights
Questions:
Does anyone have photos of this bar on the side? I found a hundred photos in front but none on the side
Lower: Reason is to keep the round look of the factory lights.
LP6 Pro, LED, Driving/Combo
Bumpers:
Front, The reason is to maintain the round looking of the factory lights:
LP9, LED, Racer Edition, Spot
Back:
One of the following options, the reason is to keep the look of the factory lights and my intention is to install these lights in the area near the fog lights on the factory European bumper
Any recommendations?
XL80, Pair Driving/Combo or Wide Cornering: Due to the power.
Squadron Pro, Flush Mount, LED Driving/Combo or Wide Cornering: Due to the easy-to-install design.
Sorry for the very intense text and many questions, but it's a lot of money and I don't want to make a big mess or costly mistake.

Once again, many thanks to all in advance.

Baja Design is a great choice for your light system. My only suggestion is NOT to block the airflow to your radiator.

Congratulations on ordering your dream Jeep! I have to say, that sounds like a whole lot of lighting, is there a reason for all of it? If you plan on doing significant off roading, then get the lights that will work best for the environment you will be off-roading in. If not and you are getting them simply for "the look," then that answers your question, get the lights that you like the looks of better. I've been driving a Jeep for 35 years, on road, off road, on beaches, and I have never once added (or needed) any type of auxiliary lights (nothing against them, not recommending not to get them, just I personally never had a need). Good luck!

Hi Mike:

Thank you a lot for your words, to be honest, the reason is in between, several years ago I had a Suzuki Vitara and in this car I installed a pair of KC lights in the fender and 5 more in the roof, I used the lights 2 o 3 times on off road trails and was very nice experience, the rest of the time was only and aesthetic reason, for that I don't want to make a stupidity, for now and due to all the restrictions that unfortunately we have here in Europe, I don't know if I really will have the possibility to enjoy/use this lights and I'm not sure that I can justify the investment, I will think a lot in your comments a lot and maybe will be a good idea to waiting until I have the car with me and test the lights and see what can I do with the car.

Again many thanks to give me another very valid point of view.

Best Regards,

Good morning:

I spoke to my wife this morning about your comment (initially she didn't want the Jeep) and she told me she wanted the lights because she likes the way the Jeep looks so you can imagine what the final decision is going to be, lol, happy Wife, happy life, no matter the cost, it's much cheaper to pay for the lights, than to have an angry wife, don't you think so? LOL.

Best regards,

congrats on getting your jeep. i have the baja designs lights on my jl and love them. yeah at first i didnt want to spend that much money on them. but decided to get them based on reviews and you tube videos. also i blamed @Headbarcode . (just kidding mike :CWL: ).

my set up is squadron sport pro on the a pillar. that will be replaced with a pair of lp4 spot (clear). on the bumper i have the lp4 driving combo (clear) and a pair of squadron sport amber in driving combo. the setup i have will light up anything and i'm happy with it.

i dont care for the lightbar in general. i think with just the lp4 and xl80 should be plenty. mike can post up a pic of his setup. keep in mine that running a driving combo on the a pillar will create hood glare. so spot is a better choice.

I have to a agree with a flood pattern creating too much glare off the hood. I have 2 pairs of Squadron Pros on my a-pillars. The inner pair is a dedicated spot pattern that I aimed straight ahead. The outer pair are floods and are aimed 45° outward and slightly down, to act as both a ditch and flank lighting. I have each pair on its own independent switch. I also have 2 pairs of amber LP4 Pros with combo lenses on the front bumper. Here's a pic from the drivers seat, which shows the amount of hood glare with the spots. It's not enough to be an issue, but a flood pattern would definitely be self blinding.

I would say if you have OnX6+ 50" then there is no need for any other light. Unless you are for the look. 50 inch onx6 will give you daylight. Like mofo sunrise daylight..

Best Regards,

If you get the lights, be sure to post photos when the project is done, everyone on here loves looking at them! That was another issue I did not mention because I don't recall the laws in the EU (I lived in Germany many years ago, but did not have my Jeep there at the time), but I know in the US that you can't use any of those lights on roads, only off-road.

Hi Mike:
I can imagine that with the OnX6+ will be more than enough light, but as you very well point, I'm not only looking for the light, I'm looking as well for the look and for my point of view, this set will looks awesome, or maybe not?, I will think more on that.
One more time, many thanks for all points of view, all are more than welcome.

Hi Mike:
Well pointed the issue with the laws, here in Spain is even worse, here is tremendous difficult to do nothing, all is a problem and of course here it's only allow to use Off-road.
