Looking to add some auxiliary lighting. Don't want made in China. So I have decided on Baja Designs. I am in between a couple options, maybe you can weigh in and help me decide?

First: Need to replace foglights, why not some more BD content? Jeep did not come with LEDs, does this affect which light I should go with? Have the OEM steel bumper.

Second: I want my aux lights controlled with the upfitter switches, so it is clean and tidy. Right now, I am flip flopping between the XL Linkable Roof Bar, or a set of LP6 or 9 Pro on bumper and a set of LP4/6 Pro on A pillar. I already have a Rhino Rack Pioneer platform, but not looking to add excessive wind noise. Typical usage would be remote highways at night in moose country. Would be clear lenses, probably add some amber lens covers just for fun.

What say you, Jeep collective?

My Sport came with halogen fog lights; I installed the Baja Designs LED fog lights with no problems, no need to change any settings in the Jeep's computer.

I just put some LP6s on the bumper of my ‘21. The LP6 & LP4 combo would be more than adequate. Get the upfitter harness and install to the aux switches is a breeze.
BD has everything you’re looking for and they are well worth the $$$.

The BD yellow is a bit green-ish, and you may want to add a layer or two of yellow film in addition. The yellow can be nice for use in rain and snow. If you want both you may be able to get removable yellow covers for clear lenses.

Check out the backup light that fits into the trailer hitch if you have one. 3,000 lumens to brighten up your day. LED for the front bumper will add another 8,000 lumens. You can always get aJ Scan to make your Jeep compatible with the LEDS. All are plug-n-play

Your concerns are valid for any above windshield setup. I wouldn't run one unless you really want the look (yes, that's a Pro6 bar above my windshield, and, yes, my wife really wanted the look). Noise and it's a bit of a pain to pull covers, so you end up not using it.

I'd run all my down road/trail lighting on the bumper. Our driving combos get the most use by far. Definitely best spot to spend the most coin.

If you're going to run pillar lights, we run 90* spreads pointed 45* out, that way you aren't throwing a bunch of glare on the hood.

Since you already have a rack, I'd highly consider some small spread/floods on the perimeter to give you some great camp/work area lighting.

I am not trying to hijack your posted inquiry of Baha Design lighting. I will just say for the Cowl mount lights...I would seriously look into the KC Flex 4. They are BRIGHT as hell. Check out my previous posts on them and their install.

I personally have a mix and match of lighting going on with my lighting set-up.

A few rock lights on the cowl covers aimed sideways are great for reading campground site sign posts as you try to find your spot in the dark. And someone decided to paint a lot of the signs dark yellow against brown. Good luck reading THAT at night.

A few more rock lights aimed onto the ground right behind the back tires can help if you ever need to back up on a shelf road.

So here’s another question….

LP9 on bumper and LP6 on A pillar, or LP6 on Bumper and LP4 on A pillar….
