I have one of those.

Based on the diagram, it must be a backpack for the rear seats 😜
I actually thought that's what it was. 😆

I don't think im aging very well.

I'll be honest, the first time I tried to put my freedom panels into that case, I thought I was being asked to reinvent the wheel. The diagrams actually helped 😂

Mind you, I've never stowed them in that upright/backpack position shown in the diagram lol

When you get that figured out would you tell me WTH this thing is? I found it in the back of my two door.

Pro tip: If you flip it over and unfold it it makes for a nice seat in whatever room you store it in.

Its been 3 years and I have never used that bag, now with a Sunrider installed I have been looking for that darn bag for about 3 days and have no idea where I "carefully" kept it

@SlickRicksWilly

I actually didn't even want a 3 piece hard top. I asked the dealership if there was a one piece hard top like the TJ. Nope denied.

That's a great idea! The one piece would be way more balanced (more like the 4 door top) which would make removing it a bit easier 😁.

But I get it. Maybe when I get more time to do more off road things, I will be less excited about pulling the top and doors. But until then it makes the daily grind a bit more exciting.

@Flip You could always replace the two freedom panels with the single Syk365 sunroof panel. It's tinted, so your shiny spot would be protected.
That's very interesting but I've never been a fan of convertibles, T-tops, sunroofs of any kind. I owned 2 vehicles with sunroofs, 1 factory and 1 aftermarket, both leaked like a sieve. I test drove a used 2010 jeep with freedom panels, they poured water all over my lap, it looked like I wet myself. I believe these experiences left me with a racial scare.

That is what I figured. I know that freedom panels on the JKs were very prone to leaking. I just figured this one is supposed to be identical to factory freedom panels, except see-through and one less seam to worry about.

I have the Sunrider as well. My Freedom panels are in my basement sitting against a folding table. The other day my wife walks in with the storage bag and asks what it was. Told her what it was, and said I'll head down and put the Freedom panels in it. It is currently sitting on the table my Freedom panels are against because I got side tracked with something else.
