Hi guys,
Hope everyone is doing fine.
I have a new 23 JLU Rubicon and during one of our trips my wife put a 1.5 liter bottled water in the net door pockets. It broke.

Can this still be attached if i open the door panels or does this look completely broke off from the main anchor point? Any recommendations would be appreciated. I don’t want to replace these with those aftermarket ones for now.

TIA,

Wendell

May I suggest replacing them? Looks much better, especially when they start to sag. I just hate saggy nets :)

Yeah. I plan to do this but not now. Thanks though. The one in the video looks good!

i just pulled them taught and snipped at the base. cleaner look with them gone.

I’m afraid i may have to do the same if there’s really no way of fixing this. Thanks!

it sounds that is your only option now, yes. I tried to remove my nets and took the door apart - the plastic parts holding the nets in place seemed to not be able to separate without breaking.

in case it helps:

Thanks! I’ll try and remove the door panels when the weather cools down a bit. I’d like to keep the OEM nets for now so I’ll glue them off needed.

Fellow Forum Members,

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't it the standard that if the spouse breaks a part of the Jeep, or the Jeep itself with catastrophic damage, it's a free pass to upgrade with 0 penalty??
I'm pretty sure that's clause TJLJJKJL-U/T- 2.0/3.0/3.6/392 in the Geneva Convention. Look it up.

I think in the vid you can see how bad mine were. That was after about 2.5 years.

yeah those nets look pretty weak. Mine look such that i wouldn't even trust them and just expect them to stretch out of whack. I want to replace mine with aftermarket but it doesn't exist yet for the 2024 models

I just absolutely detest that DV8 has to put their logo so predominately on it. Only thing that stops me from buying their product!
