By the way of note, the Sport-S build page changes tires from all-season to all-terrain, when selecting the anti-spin differential - and seemingly the dealer configuration preview lists all-terrain (TQL), even when not selecting the anti-spin differential... the pricing comes out the same and it doesn't make a difference to me - the online configurator doesn't show the hurricane either - so probably just not updated as often(?).

I love the keyless start in my Ram and made sure the Jeep had it. I can't understand the people complaining about not having a place to store the fob??? How about in your pocket like any normal people do when you leave the vehicle? I also have the proximity lock/unlock and it's great. Never have to touch a thing or grab the key out of my pocket to unlock the doors.....just walk up and grab the handle with the fob in your pocket, sit in and push the button. AS long as it works I guess...no issues yet...3 years running

My JL did not have a manual while others on the lot did come with manuals. I contacted Jeep Customer Service and they are sending one to me at no cost.
Ok, good on them. I like having a hard copy, too.

@JeepCares , I haven't read all 11 pages, but in case it hasn't been mentioned, it would be good if the builder on your website was corrected to be accurate. It's got a MAJOR flaw.

Currently, when you try to build a Rubicon in Punk'n or Mojilto!, it forces you to get the $1500 tan leather option. It doesn't allow black premium cloth, OR black leather.

That's clearly not accurate, as we're seeing Punk'n orders being placed with both black cloth and black leather.

But the point is... You have a lot of people even on this site that don't know that that's a mistake, and they've held up ordering (either because they don't like the tan, or because they don't want to be forced into a $1500 option). And that's your most informed audience. If it's still causing confusion and pause among us here, it stands to reason that it's a HUGE problem with the casual shopper popping into your site and trying to build one.

Also... a LOT of people not understanding what this thread is for. lol GOOD LUCK!

Welcome @JeepCares ,

Is it possible to get info about Euro version or do we have to wait till the Geneva Motor Show ...

Thank you,
Thank you, phcn. Unfortunately, our resources are only set up to look into any available product information for the U.S market.

It's a little late in the game to re-engineer it for a "real" key, methinks. Not exactly a small design change, and I'm sure FCA will consider fixing any problems with the new system a smarter way to spend their money.

(But hey, prove me wrong Jeep.)

Hello! I have a concern with my Jeeps GPS and CarPlay. My iPhones maps works perfectly fine but when I get in my car and plug in CarPlay thinks I’m at the dealership that I purchased the car at 3 hours away. Sometimes it adjust itself within 15 mins sometimes it does not. I have called UConnect support and they walked me threw things that didn’t resolve the issue. Can you advise?
Hi mcquinn13,

I'm sorry to hear about this ongoing concern with your GPS. Feel free to send us a direct message with your VIN as we'd be glad to look into this further. We'll get to it as soon as possible.

No... These ladies are totally here to get engineering and design suggestions from random people on the internet to immediately R&D to put into 2018 production vehicles. :cwl:

I'm getting a kick out of so many people ITT that have no idea what the spirit of it is about or what it's for.

I'm quite sure these two ladies are having fun reading and rolling their eyes at a large percentage of these posts.

I did make a point of telling an FCA rep at the 2017 Indy Auto Show that Jeep should reconsider the shrinking gap between the floor and the bottom of the door. I love the fact that I can leave stuff on my passenger floor that won't roll out the open door as I drive down the highway.

Obviously that piece of feedback didn't have much influence on the JL.

@JeepCares

Here are some good points of contention / issues with the new JL that need addressing. The keyless FOB / push button start being #1.

Give us the option of a real physical mechanical key like the JK had! I don't want to compromise reliability and durability for the sake of being "cool" or because it's "new and different". I want a physical key / ignition, damn it!

So you want them to design a new ignition because you're worried about this one you've never used???

Thank you so much for entertaining all of our questions. Approximately how long is it averaging for delivery of a new Wrangler from the order date ?

I ordered a jeep back on 12/22. it got to my dealership over a week ago. Looks like there were multiple issues when it went through the dealer inspection. (sound equipment was not plugged in, and there was a broken part that was causing the 4WD light to remain turn on even when in 2WD).

is there any recourse we have if this turns out to be a lemon?
All I can say is if they can not get it fixed for you and tell you they are going to get you a new one don't pay for milage. They tried that with me with my 2011 JK leaker. They tried charging me $1,500 for milage on a jeep that leaked like crazy from day one. I called 1-800- lemon law and had a new jeep in a few mounts.
