I am not sure if this is something only available overseas but the headlight switch has 2 buttons instead of one. Could one be for heated headlights??
Both pictures were from Amazon`s site

The headlight switch is the European switch the second button is for the rear fog lights, I don’t think there is any light in the mirrors you can get but I believe on the high altitude trim it comes with the turn signal in the mirror and looks like that.

Correct. The High Altitude is the only JL trim level that comes with those lights in the side mirrors. You might be able to find something similar aftermarket.

Thanks for clarifying that I was pretty sure that was the case.
Now the real question is what would it take to retro fit these factory items and make them work correctly.?

The mirror lights should be relatively simple. Basically, you need to tap into the turn signal wiring in each fender well and run a wire up though each door to the mirror. Just need to make a connection that can be disconnected when the doors are removed.

In the UK and Europe there’s a legal requirement to have rear foglights (fronts were optional - up to the point I left anyway). I would love to figure out a way to make that switch work, I’d rig my rearward facing amber KC’s to it and free up an Aux switch.
