I've never seen one on a Jeep. Have seen a few on Caravans/Town Country with the 3.6I don’t think I’ve ever seen a harmonic balancer fail on a 3.6.
I honestly can’t recall ever having to replace one. 3.8L T&C’s sure, but no 3.6 sticks in my mind.I've never seen one on a Jeep. Have seen a few on Caravans/Town Country with the 3.6
Hi! I had a serpentine belt shred on me right after I bought a used 2021 Jeep JLU 3.6L eTorque. Turns out that the belt was changed TWICE the month prior from the CarFax report with the belt tensioner being replaced the first time. That being said, when I bought it, the following week, the belt shredded, so we replaced ALL tensioners and pulleys along with the accessory belt tensioner and belt to the a/c - water pump since the engine was open and "WHY NOT CHANGE IT ALL"I had that same issue at 23K on my 2021 Willys. Sounded like a belt, would somewhat disappear after the engine was warm. Jeep dealer replaced the belts twice until I forced them to keep it overnight so they could hear it when started cold. Harmonic balancer was splitting. Took four trips to the dealership. Frustrating.
