If it only started leaking after you reinstalled everything, I'd suggest rechecking everything to ensure it's installed properly. I've run into this myself where I thought I had everything together "right" only to find out something was not aligned "just right" allowing water to leak in.
I agree, I'll look at it today sometime between a thousand other projects. Def going to build the storage racks shown here as the wall brackets are grossly overpriced for what they are. If I had access to a sheet metal brake I'd make a few!

I hear you there... Have been wanting to pull the doors on mine since I finally have a house with a garage and mine is now a garage queen, but my wife's kayak has been sitting on my door cart (it's disassembled) since we moved in almost two months ago. :(

I understand the moving thing, after moving cross country 20 years ago I STILL have things in disarray! I am just now getting around to building a bench for my lathe that's been on the floor.

I built it using the instructions from the forum and used it during the summer without issues.

Curious...why not a hoist...you seem to have enough ceiling height...then
it's a 1 person job and no space taken up.

I don't take it off often enough, I have two teenagers sons so it's pretty easy to take it off and on :)
