They’re free, again, this week.

Couldn't find this thread when I was there, but I did go get 3 more blankets and a magnet light. So useful to have and these fit the back? How could I not?

Thanks for the tip! :like:

Also picked up some motorcycle netting but they are too small to span the back. $2.99 ea so no loss. I'll use them for something.

When you get your blankets, fold them in half and stuff two of them in between the hardtop roof and the sound bar. They're black, and so, fade into the background. Up there, they are out of the way and yet handy.

Thanks OP these are great. I purchased 3, I had a free coupon for the small one and used it in the rear storage compartment for anti rattle for some tools. The 40" x 72" is nearly perfect.

I have a spiderweb shade and have a moving blanket between the shade and the hard top. Provides some insulation and sound deadening for a fraction of the cost of the fitted head liners

I bought 3 and I'm using one in place of a Weathertech. I still think that Yeti blanket in red would be great in the back of a Rubi but they are bigger and WAY more money!

Geeeez, I was just thinking. I could have the ole gal next door make me one more big pocket for me.

I could use it to keep my spare fob in when my friend transports it for me with his JLU..

The big pocket would hide it .... would prevent prying eyes from seeing it back there..

Also, would prevent it from damaging the plastic panels in the back of my buds, JLU.

I know right! The key fob should come with a shoulder strap or a holster.

Came across this old thread.... a guy messaged me the other day and said thanks that the Harbor Freights saved his new JL from hail damage...

He liked my idea of making big pockets out of the pads and leaving them in the JL as I posted do.

He Had the pockets in his JL when the hail started when he was out camping...

I use em to 'wrap' the doors when I have them leaning against the wall for a few days. They're great when you're picking up plants, mulch, etc.

Got my JLURD yesterday and would like to take my dog for a ride as soon as possible. But looking forward, I wonder if the HB blankets would fly around with the top down. When you are laying the blankets in the cargo area, how are you securing them when the top is down?

@Rugbydoss

My Harbor Freight Moving Blankets are all sewn (easy to sew) so they are pockets. (doubled up)

They move around very little with the top off... but I usually have some small stuff in the pockets,

For you / your fur kid...... Take a Moving blanket, make a pocket >... either machine sewn (they sew easily) or with safety pins.

Now in that pocket place another folded blanket inside of that pocket.... Place that in the back of the JL...... Now, nice and cushy for fur kid and the pocket will stay put.
