Free play in steering is measurable and the DOT has clear limits allowed for commercial vehicles. My 2019 JLU clearly has excess free play and I’ve driven plenty of Jeeps to know this one is unusually loose steering.

Banks seems to have abandoned his attempt to discredit aftermarket diff covers. I can tell you for a fact that my diff runs cooler with an aftermarket finned cover with increased capacity on my Ram 2500 that I deliver RVs with.

I know right! The key fob should come with a shoulder strap or a holster.

I have the exact same issue with my new JLU. Noticed it about 10 miles into the drive home from the dealer. I’ve had other Jeeps, it’s not a Jeep thing. Something is clearly wrong beyond just tire pressure and alignment.
