Congratulations. I like your color choice and actually like your wheels better than the stock 392 wheels.

As of right now, that's still the plan but the equation keeps changing.

I paid $34K and change. Carvana is still offering me $3k more than I paid. And KBB is nuts on their appraisal.

But then we have:
Loss of Affiliate Discount
Possible lower off-invoice discount
No colors I'd consider as of right now
Continuation of chip and magnesium shortage may cause spring build issues.

I would like to repeat my Gupton experience tho.

Maybe KBB isn’t nuts on their appraisal. Carvana is offering so much because they plan to sell it for probably around that KBB price or higher. They’re in this to make money, not give consumers good deals. They want to buy low and sell high too.

Take the money and run if you have another vehicle to use. Order a 2022 from Gupton. I would buy roller skates to temporary get around with if you can get that KBB price!
The KBB number is a fantasy, but is what they claim based on my exact build. And yeah, if it were realistic I'd sell today.

I'd love to see their Get Cash Offer, but don't want to give them my info.

But someone just posted the supposed colors for 2022. Looks like I might be keeping her after all.

Just in interesting tidbit, I sold a 2016 SUV to Carvana in Aug. They paid me what most of the books claimed was Dealer Retail. They were $6K over local dealer offers and $3K over Vroom.

I tracked it for the 3 weeks until they sold it. It sold for $600 more than they paid me.

I'm sure that is not the normal.

I stopped by Gupton today to get a picture or 2 of my 2 door Rubicon before the lift and 35’s are done. Pick up is scheduled for Tuesday. Here are a few photos of the lot. It was lightly raining so I didn‘t take too many….oh, and zero yellow Jeeps

Nice! I love Granite. Yours looks like my old JLR. My '19 JLR was the same color as yours with painted fenders and black hard top. .

They must've picked up on the high tire pressure thing because my Gladiator was at 35-36 psi on each tire when I checked.

And yeah, second that on downloading offline Google Maps for the drive back. I purposely took the back roads to Hopkinsville KY to follow the prescribed break in period. There is some serious back country there!! Could get lost for a long time back there. I found a few cool looking BBQ places that I would've stopped at if I wasn't pressed for time.

Yeah, my order is built (JLUR - Order Date 9/20) with an ETA of 11/1 to 11/10. I'm going to start mapping out a back roads way back from Nashville through to Boone, NC (went to school there), and then back down the mountains into Greenville, and then eventually home to Charleston, SC. Trying to keep at least the first 300 miles on mostly backroads and under 60. Any suggestions on bbq and/or trails that will be fairly easy going are welcomed.

Update - just checked with Jeep chat (because I'm scheduling some work travel for the week after next) - and it's there! Woohoo, going to touch base with Renee today to get paperwork setup and what not.

So anyone headed up there be on the lookout for a Hydro Blue Rubicon, 4 dr, black hard top, black machined wheel option.

Make sure you give them time. They are extremely busy and it's a small dealership with minimal staff (part of how they can give people here the discounts that they do).

I strongly recommend trying to schedule pickup times during the week. Weekends get pretty crazy there and it's easier to get in and out when there's only a few customers around.

Yeah....I know I basically just said hey if you can get it sometime next week that would be great, as I'm travelling for work the next week. I can pretty much go whenever within reason, just gotta buy a one-way flight (nonstop which is nice) and it's like a 35 min flight.
