Guide: Wrangler Order, Build, Tracking and Delivery Process

Hi Everyone,

Really appreciate this forum site and this thread. Super helpful and friendly.

Looks like I am one of the unlucky ones and learning about patience. Ordered from Maryland dealer on 7/26, VIN and VON on 7/27. Zero movement since then, consistently getting the " all of the materials that are necessary to build your vehicle are being received and the build process should begin very soon" for the past two months with Chat. Was recently able to get escalation number with Jeep, but other than an email from Jeep customer care, still no progress. Dealer is completely useless.

Understand there are supply chain issues, just frustrating to read about folks who ordered weeks/months after me and have had their orders filled. There is hope everyday

My build - somewhat loaded I guess, not sure what part(s) are holding things up:

I just received a nice update from Jeep escalation, that my parts have finally been received with the message " We show your order presently has an estimated production plan timing for either the week of October 4th or the week of October 11th".

I take this to mean I am in D1 stage - at least that is progress. I'm hopefully to get delivery before Thanksgiving which would put me at 4 months, ugh. it is what it is. Makes me wonder if the escalation helped and what would have happened if Jeep Chat didn't get my situation escalated last week.

Weird thing is that my build does not show up in cryptostickers as found at all. Guess I am one of the outliers

I just got an update from Jeep Chat that all of the parts have been gathered and I'm waiting for the build to start but no ETA yet. Does that mean D1? I don't know.... No one has given me any "codes" yet. I'm at 4 weeks now.

Mine made it to the dealer yesterday. One of the last Snazzberry jeeps built. Now I have to wait another week for delivery because I'm moving a 1.2 million pound load across Nebraska. The wait is killing me.

What do you mean one of the last Snazzberry Jeeps built? I ordered Snazzberry and mine just hit D1 this week! lol Is Snazzberry only a 1 or 2 yr paint color?

So got my VIN today. Put it on that cryptostickers for fun and got this reply.

Tried putting the VIN in the other links (USA/Canada) and get nothing.

I was told my VIN today but put in my VIN at the end of the link and nothing.

What are you doing to get that?

Dealer told me to take that ship date with a grain of salt as he has Jeeps still not shipped after 3+ weeks.

I am getting antsy wanting the Jeep already. Been without a Jeep since July and miss it. Not the same driving my nieces Subaru Impreza.

Asked for the Von and they gave me the VIN. Should I ask for the VON again or maybe the POC ? Or is the vin all I need ? Thanks

if you got the VIN then it has to be built before they start the 2022 orders.

Like they have to start building it right ? Lol because the 2022 orders start oct5 I think. I was just wondering if I needed the VON or POC to get the info on the build, name, ect… not really sure

Well I'm canadian so I can't get any info from anyone except the dealer. I did have a nice chat with the Jeep chat USA. Too bad fca just wouldn't let them handle the canada service as well .

I see it only on the Gladiator config page but not the Wrangler. It was taken out. So they produced it for a few months this year only.

Snazzberry was a limited run color and has been retired. This info is directly from a contact I have at FCA.
