Looking for a good grounding point in engine compartment, driver side. I've looked at wiring diagrams but was hoping someone could be more specific on details. Any help would be appreciated.

There’s one on the drivers side near the brake booster.

Thank you for the reply! I'm assuming you are referring to the painted bolt?

Yes. There is one there and a couple on the passenger side. Also in the kick panel in the footwell on both sides and in the rear quarter panel on the drivers side. I bet there is one on the passenger side quarter panel too.

This bundle of wires is this preventing me from reaching the nut. Are there any other grounding points nearby?

I need a spanner wrench, don't I? Untill that happens, is there any place I can ground my little pod light now?

When you go to free up painted over bolts, you risk rounding off the nut, breaking off the bolt, etc... Yes, you can first remove paint, use 6 pt. socket and be careful but...

On passenger side, near battery you can use this point. It's not painted and frees up easily and with no risk of rounding off or breaking...

I have plenty of wire -- I'll run the ground to that side. Thank you!
