I am ready for my CB install minus the antenna mount. I have read about the antenna needing to be grounded and would like clarification.
Options;
1. "If" I put a metal bracket on the plastic third brake light, do I just add a jumper ground from the antenna to the jeep body since the plastic wont conduct?
2. Buy the jeep third brake light relocator bracket. Is it bolted to allow sufficient grounding to Jeep body? Is a jumper required?
3. Am I just over thinking this?
Just dont want to fry my CB unit by not grounding the antenna correctly.
