“Tire Pressure Monitoring for Vehicle Built After June 7th 2021
Pre-June 7th 2021 Build

Vehicles built prior to June 7th will be equipped with a Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) Module.

Post-June 7th 2021 Build

The Tire Pressure Monitoring system for vehicles built after June 7th 2021 is integrated by the Radio Frequency Hub (RF Hub). A “Dummy” TPMS module will be installed with the purpose of being pass-through for the CAN communication lines. The “Dummy” TPMS module cannot be communicated with and is not a factor in the Tire Pressure Monitoring.”


My understanding is any decent tire shop will have the correct tool and can diagnose the problem.


Here’s some answers that may be 100% BS but depending on your willingness to try could work, Remove your spare and drive for about 20 minutes to see if this sensor wakes up.

When I switched my wheels out, one TPMS sensor was not giving a reading even after driving an hour to the trail head. I aired down to 12 psi and within a mile offroad the TPMS reported the PSI and has been fine from that point on. Again this may be BS as well, but people allegedly have dropped the air pressure in all 4 tires by 12-15 psi, driven for 20 minutes and had the TPMS start reporting tire pressure again.

Im sure @alphawolff and @mwilk012 will be along shortly to dispel one or both of these myths

I dropped to 12 psi for the trail….again this could be total bullshit and a coincidence that it worked for me.

I can attest to the kicking of the tire in the valve stem area to wake up the tpms. @yokramers BFP(Big F***in Purse) will work too!

Only thing I’ve done recently was a new battery and aux battery delete. Checked the pressure in all tires and they are good.

Replace all 4 TPMS sensors. Make sure you get the right ones for your year! If you had a bead buster, you could change them yourself.
