I also had too many issues with my 18 GC transmissions and transfer cases. Yes that implies multiple because I was on my 3rd transmission and transfer case when I got rid of it. First one was used with 50k miles and the other 2 were brand new remans.

Technically obsolete on automatics that allow manual gear changes, as the 850RE's AutoStick feature does.

In that instance, "L", for Low, is whatever gear you've selected that meets the requirements of your current driving conditions.

Hardly. But this seems like a real stretch. But any thread that pokes fun of automatics is fine with me even though it's probably backfiring
