Got Ducked!!!!!

The ducking phenomenon is the only aspect of the jeep lifestyle my wife has taken to. My son loves it as well, and would duck every parked jeep if he could. I'm pretty neutral to the whole thing. I've been ducked, but it was after my kid left one on another jeep when we went into a store.

My wife seems to go off of jeep personality more than modifications and will select a duck based on decals or decorations. If you have a thin blue line on your jeep, you get a cop duck. Disney anything? Princess duck. So on and so forth. Not sure if everyone goes off this metric, but if you enjoy being ducked maybe put a sticker on your car or something on the dash.

I like them because they're simple and small, and have the Jeep grill silk screened onto them.

Daughter bought me a bag of ducks last Christmas to use. Only ducked 3 since then cause it's usually people out walking about when I park and I don't want to look "weird" walking up to another Jeep placing a toy duck on it....lol

I got ducked yesterday with this unique duck in a grocery store parking lot. I looked around but didn't see any jeeps nearby but there was a new Bronco parked next to me, wouldn't think he left it. But whoever left it, thanks, seems to be a special duck.

Me too. I too park away from civilization whenever possible so less chance of me getting ducked.

Well, it finally happened today. As I came out from lunch and was walking towards my Jeep - parked out alone, away from others - I watched another Jeep pull up behind and a young girl hopped out and walked up to my door. As I approached I smiled and told her she made my day. I carry a bag of ducks in back so I gave her one too, which she handed to her mom behind the wheel. It was a fun exchange for us all and I had a smile on my face for some time after.
No way can that be a bad thing.

I have 17 ducks in less then 2 years. I have giving back quite a few, and have had the opportunity to give one back and have some conversations with a few people as we were ducking each other.

But, the thing that surprised me the most was at the Smokey mountain jeep invasion. Most jeeps I saw at this event were modified, most a lot modified.
Mine was completely stock except for a lot of dirt and mud from several trails we had done prior.

We spent almost all day at the event. When we left I had been ducked 3 times.
