Just Got Ducked

Ok so this inmy is flsttering and hilarious! My sons and I are on vacation in Montana. I had reserved a car at budgett rental They gave me a chrysler Pacifica. I took bu then turened arund and went back and told them i wanted a Jeep. So they gave me a 2023 Jeep gladiator basic has street tires nothing to special in grey. So we tookit out exploring up by Olsen creek and of course there were mud puddles so icouldn't help but get it dirty and muddy. Parked it at the hotel. got up the next moring and lo and behold I got ducked. Funny thing is my rubcion x at ome in CA never gets ducked. here I am in basic Gladiator and I got a duck !! WE took that jeep all overcrossing creeks an down some rocky trails in serach of fly fishing hidden spots I was really impressed by it . I guess haing a rubicon makes me feell a bit jaded in the sense i do't think there is anything out there that could really stop it short of King of the hammers or such.

I had a Bronco loaner a few weeks back and came out to a duck on the door. My kids were laughing their aces off wondering if the ducker realized it wasn't a Jeep. It was in a darker parking garage.

Had my JLU for 3 years in Denver, never got ducked once. Been in Greenville SC for 9 months, been ducked a half dozen times or more. Almost everyone here with a Jeep has a dash full of ducks, side to side. I feel weird with only half dozen ducks on my dash. Not sure I want any more TBH, they fill the little cargo tray on top of the dash and I feel like that's a sufficient number of ducks.

Also notice that Wrangler/Gladiators outnumber the new Bronco here by about 10:1. Seems like I'm always giving the Jeep Wave to someone, they are very popular here. In Denver there were a lot more Broncos running around. Maybe because Broncos are still relatively expensive but there are lots of older, cheaper Wranglers available here where salaries aren't nearly as high as Denver. I dunno.
