Hard to forgive Goodyear on their corporate activism few years back, but these tires look interesting. Anyone has any experience with them?

Corporate activism? I don't even know anything about that. I avoid Goodyear because of the G159 tire cover-up where they intentionally sold defective tires for years, and continued to lie about their internal tests that showed the tires were defective, including withholding documents in federal court for which they were later sanctioned.

There are so many other brands to choose from. You don't need this particular tire. And can you trust Goodyear to make safe tires? They refuse to acknowledge their wrongdoing to this day.

I admit it's a good looking tire but after reading @azwjowner post I'd pass! (forever)
Plus after a completely BS warranty denial (grenaded tire ~20 min after checking Must have been run flat ) I pass on BFG. Add the infamous

Not going to get into politics, but it had something to do about only some lives mattering while others not so much.

That's a shame. Firestone did that a while back.

Yep, except the records show the Goodyear G159 tires failed at 10 to 27 times the rate of those infamous Firestones, and Goodyear with its lawyers engaged in a 20 year coverup. Firestone didn’t do that.

I think you will find that there are a lot of companies out that have had their issues and coverups. Firestone the same a few years back.
Personally, I have yet to see this new GY tire. I don’t even think it’s available in Canada yet.

Sounds like propaganda to me .. I’ve been running GY tires for years and have never had an issue with them. I have had issues with others and despise BFG with being dishonest with their undersized tire sizing.

Everyone has their own take and experiences. Remember, most other tires that you speak of are made overseas.

I don't care if you don't care like I do (make your own decisions), but it's not a "take" or "propaganda." The documentation, including court opinions, is all available to show Goodyear knowingly sold dangerous tires that could not handle the speeds they rated them at and lied about them for 20 years.

Like Firestone?
You do realize the Goodyear also owns Dunlop, Cooper and Mickey Thompson as well as a few others, right?

Yeah, it was sad when Goodyear bought Cooper a few years ago. I'm running BFGs, next tire will either be KO3 or Toyo Open Country.

But other than this thread, because OP already didn't like Goodyear, I don't bring this issue up. People can do their own research and make their own choices, and I do like U.S. made tires in general, so when I more broadly comment that people should buy U.S. tires, I don't exclude Goodyear from the list. I just won't buy them personally.
