I played humorously about all my Jeep picks got sold, and the only remaining choice was white... they were all black at the time. So my humor got the best of me....

If you don't actually work for USPS I'd be careful. Impersonating a postal worker is a federal crime and the mail police are bored. Not telling you how to live your life or anything, just a friendly heads up in case you didn't know. If you are a postal worker please disregard.

I am not a lawyer, but US MALL or US MALE might be different enough to avoid the problem.

Impersonating a postal worker would be placing items in mail boxes. Or knocking on door and delivering fake mail to gain entry.

Did you know the only items allowed in a mail box is US mail and parcels that fit. That is why rual routes have designated news paper bins near the mail box. Anyone placing anything but mail that is assigned to the address they are delivering to is fraudulent. UPS and FedEx will not touch a mail box. Your mail box is federally protected even though you may have bought it or is along the road side. Most US mail boxes have US Mail embossed, and that is included as postal property at the location it is placed even though it is on your property.

My logo is so freaking old only boomers can remember it. Also my logo has a trade mark which no postal vehical uses, since it is a government vehical. Other than the old 70s logo, there is nothing bearing government issue.

There are haul trailers, rual jeeps and right hand drive cars that only state US mail. They are of service use. I understand the need for such markings. The markings is to visually detour harm and theft. Most anything done in an unlawful act to mail, parcels, postal worker, and 3rd party carrier performing US postal duties is a federal offence. Even paying a scammer with a US Postal MO of $1.00 or more can bring prison term without you needing to contact law enforcement. Just inform the clerk of the issue and US Postal will do the rest and refund once claim is verified. Basically bill boards can have legit logos and the advertising company has no fault, since the bill board has not done an illegal act towards the mail system and the people it represents.

I tried my best to recreate an old white DJ postal jeep. Half doors would help tremendously, since they have a post for vent window on doors. Since the Rubicon has high fenders and its logo it was impossible to outline the fenders like the 70's stripes.

I was thinking it would be grand to do the October run with my Jeep in costume
Ha!

I plan to paint door handles and side mirrors body color. Eventually I'll do a NASA jeep. VA has Langley NASA plates. Also my Jeep is a natural born Texan. Nasa also has its roots there too.

Here is what I modeled my Jeep to look like.

Almost.... practically the same age now... and hair line... no mustache. Though I am also a mix of Woody and Coach... I can make a Dr Fraizer Crane pull their hair out.
