Agree ^^^
Rod - I’ve haven’t investigated this route but have always wondered how much 2.5” spacer lift impacts axles being centered?
Axles are centered and alignment remained perfect on my Sport but that may not be the case on OP's Rubicon.

Welcome Josh,
If your intended use is getting to the cabin and installing 35" more for appearance than anything else a very simple solution is Teraflex 1.5" leveling spacer kit. Its 2" in front 1" in rear and gives plenty of room for 35" tires. Kit runs about $260 and leveled my jeep out. No issues with post install Alignment on my JLUR. I don't rock crawl but I do go wheeling and it has worked just fine.

I agree. I posted pics of my Jeep with the Teraflex leveling kit with 35s in a link at post #15. Except mine is the 2" front, 1.5" rear version.

Screw all that nonsense from those guys. Throw a 3.5” full blown lift 37s, complete adjustable shock pkg, adj TS steering stabilizer, upgrade steering, new gears, spare tire carrier, Tazer Mini, front rear aftermarket bumpers, winch, new rock sliders and call it done. We all know that’s where you will end up :CWL:
Seriously both @Roky and @blnewt offering great input.
You're probably right and I was waiting for this. LOL

In all reality, I'll probably end up down the rabbit hole, just not immediately.:LOL:

So ... Let's say I want to go down this rabbit hole. What should I budget to do it right?

Lol. I haven’t gone there yet. @Roky and @Headbarcode on this thread have extensive knowledge of cost associated with most all mods I listed. Maybe they could weigh in to give you a good estimate. My thoughts would be 3500 lift, 3200 wheels/tires, 2500 gears, 1200 steering upgrades, 600 tire carrier, 800 winch, 1800 bumpers, and another 1000 misc. so total = $15-$16K. Probably on high end. IMO based on your needs you start with budget lift and wheels/tires you want and enjoy for a long time...

Ok ... So I looked at the AEV spacer lift. It says you can go up to 37's. Why in the hell wouldn't I do that ?!? Seems like only thing I would need to add is an adjustable track bar ... And 37's of course.

Can anyone convince me this is a bad idea?

No reason why you shouldn’t do it, if that’s what your looking for. Keep in mind, the Mopar lift control arms aren’t going to be as effective at 2.5” of lift. I would suggest you get sone adj. lcas or, if you get the Mopar lift arms, get some geometry brackets for them. I would also get front adjustable track bar and the rear track bar relocation bracket. But you can get by without it for a while. I just like to get everything centered up and stretched out when I install lifts.

For your intended use as described, I can’t.

There are a lot of positive reasons, but here are two negative considerations:
  • 37s may place additional stress on other components
  • Your everyday performance will suffer - acceleration and MPG
