Let's be clear...I dont agree that it's being pumped up for political gain. According to you, that makes me either dishonest or stupid, right?

So easily triggered...But, if the shoe fits...

Too Stupid to survive! that will be the mantra!!! When the head of the centers for disease is telling you to wear a mask and socially distance, why when given the facts are people in such denial? Hospital first responders are living in a fkng hell of deaths and yet people only care about not being able to go to the bar or socialize with their friends. I don't have a medical degree or a degree in infectious diseases, but when someone who has spent his/her life studying these scenarios I bow down and listen!!!!!! The rest of you ....as I said are too stupid to survive.

According to the data 99.6% of us will survive no matter the intelligence level.

I'm not saying we should not take a new virus seriously, but we should also not throw over a century of practices in virology and serology when it comes to combating it.

Since when do we quarantine healthy people?

Another side effect of 150+ days of 15 days to flatten the curve is that we're going to have a lot more death to other factors. How many people put off cancer screenings because they were scared of the rona? What are the longer term mental effects of isolation, family members dying alone and not being able to be with them?

2 million work deaths are world wide, actually its 2.78 million, just wanted to clear that up. As for the non-negotiable facts.....my very close friends uncle died from a car accident but the death certificate had covid as a cause, Fact. My folks neighbor fell 22 feet died from head injuries but death certificate had covid as a cause, Fact. THE COVID DEATH NUMBERS ARE PROVEN TO BE MOCKED UP AND ARE NOT FACTS!
Another fact. A close friend of mine made an appointment for a COVID-19 test after feeling slightly unwell. Missed the appointment because had started feeling much better the next day. Lo and behold what came in the mail a couple of days later but a letter telling her that her test came back COVID-19 positive. Yep, she never was even tested...

So called facts lie...

The majority of people can not consume popcorn without touching their mouth with their virus infected hands, you must were vinyl gloves to be safe. Oh and don't forget to drop your mask first.

Yup, in most places if you sign up for a ChinaFlu test and no-show, they mark you down as positive! Same thing is happening with many of the drive up tests, if you sign up and they run out of tests before your turn, they mark you as positive!

And this MaskHysteria has gotten out of control...I see sheep wearing masks in their cars, by themselves, on the interstate...77 days to go before things start to normalize again, can't wait!

Big 10 canceled football till spring??? School maybe waiting till next quarter to start??? What if the numbers are the same then?? What the heck is going on! Are we waiting till zero cases to start living life? Isn't there a point were quality of life out weighs the risk? The numbers are not that staggering. Its dangerous to travel in a vehicle but we still do it. Its dangerous to ride motorcycles but we still do it. Its dangerous to drink and smoke but some still do it. Its dangerous to go to work (2 million per year die from work accidents)but we still do it. It took 25 years to develop a chicken pox vaccine, small pox was around for 200 years till wiped out. I'm not waiting that long for normality. Life is all about taking risks, not about curling up in the corner hiding from anything that can harm you. Lets get going dammit.....
The title of your post, as opposed to the rest of your above post is pretty Ironic given the fact that most people are trying to do just that, by wearing masks and social distancing. This is not and should not be a political issue. What you are stating in your post is similar to if I were in the middle of a battle on the battlefield, and said, "I'm tired of this battle, I want to live my life as before", and walk out in the middle of the battle and get shot....... Look, I am the first one to think we need to get back to normal, but a world-wide pandemic is getting in the way. We all need to take a deep breath and cherish the moments with our families and hope our elderly folks we know do not get sick. We will get through this, but in the mean time, Stay safe everyone...

And if you do not believe this is politically driven, you sir are delusional.

No matter your affiliation, or belief, to say it is not political is absurd. Of course the disease is real, but it has been used as a pawn in the power struggle that has been brewing for some time now.

As a world population we have a 99% survival rate from covid it's complete crap to shut the world down for this. The world leaders can save hundreds of thousands more lives by ending cigarette sales and only ruin one industry and a fraction of jobs lost compared to thousands of businesses and industries closing and the absolute shit show thats going on now.
