I had a set ordered but canceled it when I remembered (actually the wife reminded me) I never really used them in any previous cars that had them. Maybe I'm just getting too old.

I installed them. I used the Tazer to unlock them as well. It was a bit of adult "legos" putting the new wiring harness in there, but as mentioned previously in this thread--it's not hard to do and the shifters are pretty useful for offroad or for downshifting before gassing it to pass etc. Undoing the airbag connections resulted in quite a few expletives, but it's 100% doable and with your OEM steering wheel that has backside buttons (which you replace as well of course).

Does anyone know of a good install video or guide to putting these in? I had a set arrive a couple days ago and I'm going to attempt the install this weekend...

What is the install like on these?
Super easy. Take the steering wheel off and do it on the kitchen table. Had a YouTube video of it up and was done in an hour total. The other awesome part is the paddles work with hill descent. If you use JScan to enable it don’t enable paddles CSM. it adds paddles checkbox to your radio settings that doesn’t work.

Would you mind elaborating on that?
If you enable that option it only adds an option to your radio settings that when unchecked (like to turn off)does nothing but beeps at you and turn back on. There is another paddles option in JScan that adds paddles without the option in settings. Tazer adds it without the CSM (consumer settings menu) I think that what it means.

Thanks for the clarification.

When people were initially trying to put the 392 steering wheel / paddles on their rigs there were comments that it behaved differently than a 392. Apparently the 392 eventually comes out of paddle shifting mode on its own (like most cars with paddles do), but they were having to screw with the shifter to get it back into drive. Is that still the case?
