Genesis Dual Battery Setup Installed

Had some issues with the stock battery setup while on a multi-month trip to AK. First the aux battery and I by-passed it and then the last few days of the trip the mail battery failed. I just towed it home behind the Mtr Home and ordered the dual batt kit. Just finished installing it this afternoon. This should take care of the problem once and for all.

I have the mopar tow harness on my JL. When towing, I note that the battery is often dead or very low after towing all day. My theory is that the jeep's electrical system "wakes up" continuously during towing. So, last time I towed, I disconnected the batteries (genesis dual). Tail lights still worked off the tow vehicle's power.

Do you have a charge line running from the motorhome that runs to the Jeep battery? If not, you need one.

I don't have the jeep wired for it to charge off the tow vehicle, at present. But I have one of those brake buddy things around here somewhere. I've been lazy or just prioritized other things.
