Hello all, I have a 2018 sahara unlimited and last week it would not start in the morning out of nowhere. I've replaced the battery and alternator and they are functioning fine but when I checked all the fuses with my multimeter I got all zeros except for fuse 97...it first came in at 0.52 or a little higher which lead me to believe that's the draining culprit. After looking online and resetting it by pulling the fuse, keeping it out for 20 seconds, putting it back, shutting down the truck and leaving the door open for a minute...the pull went down to 0.30....is this exceptable or should there be zero coming from that fuse at all times?...I also bypassed the auxiliary battery a while back as well...any input would be greatly appreciated

That is the radio and telematics fuse. It will never at 0. Even when the Jepp is off, the canbus system never shuts completely down. Your Uconnect is pretty much the central command system for anything outside of the mechanicals.

Ok and thank you..after more research, I was informed that these units had a recall because the uconnnect stays on and this is what's draining my battery overnight. I'm considering just removing the fuse or going with an aftermarket radio so I don't have to deal with it. Has anyone else had this issue?...

The radio stays partly on for about five minutes until it goes into sleep mode. You should leave hood open and wait for 5-10min before checking for parasitic drains.
Also, better it you can measure the current directly rather than just a voltage across a fuse. Should be less than about 50mA when sleeping.

Wait 2 hours then test parasitic draw, I’m still working on mine for a while now, bouncing around 70-110 mV which is too high, I have my final test set up for this weekend . My radio draws zero at rest.

Appreciate the suggestion...still thinking about just putting an aftermarket radio in to try to rule this out.....
