Does anyone know where I can tie into the fuel pump wire? Not sure location or color. Own a 2018 wrangler JL sport 3.6l. Not enough room in the fuse box to add an inline fuse to the already existing fuse and would like to avoid buying a kit. Prefer to do the work myself. I believe you can possibly access this wire under the relay but there is almost zero room to work with wires. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

By not enough room to add an inline fuse do you mean something like THIS, because I think that would be an easy method. As for a wiring diagram there are some on here somewhere but my search ability is on par with yours so I can't help.

is what you’re doing a secret? if you really want meaningful answers, why not just say what you’re trying to accomplish? Post a pic of that area of your fuse box. It will save a lot of questioning and guessing.

if you’re looking to do a kill switch, just drop something like this in. If theres an issue you just swap the OEM relay back in and everything is easily reversible.

Yes I’m looking to install a kill switch but would rather wire to my already existing rocker switch. Prefer to use the fuel pump so it can’t be bump started. I’m not really a fan of the new devices they have out there. Probably just an old soul. Prefer to wire myself. Thanks

Between the forums free wiring diagrams and the example of the 4122 switch you should have no problem with your DIY.

So are you looking for fuel pump power or fuel pump relay power? Does it matter to you?

Whichever one had more room to splice in a kill switch would be ideal but it probably doesn’t matter which one. I can run the new wire from anywhere as far as length and accessing the cab

It’s better to run off of the signal input to the relay, much lower current and less likely to cause issues.
