I found the programming toggle in JSCAN. You'll need some way to activate the feature in the vehicle's computer (BCM?). JSCAN has the capability.

Does anyone know if the 2024 Rubicon X has the front park sense? I see it owners manual but don't see in uconnect 5 settings?

I know US market JLs don't have the option, but I want to know if anyone has attempted(or better yet succeeded) in retrofitting the front sensors from the international market JLU on a US JLU.

I did a search before posting and didn't come across any definitive answers except for some threads mentioning some intentions to try to add it. Nobody confirming they did it.

I have four main questions:

Is there a definitive list of parts to make this work posted somewhere?
I know I'll need the sensors, module, and mounting hardware, but does my current fog light wiring harnesses have the plugs for the sensors or will I need new harnesses as well?
Can US dealer source/sell the parts necessary for the retrofit?
Since my JL already has ParkSense (albeit the rear only), is it plug and play or will it take extra programming of the UConnect to recognize the extra module and sensors?

Any answers will help and I appreciate any extra information.
Sorry for the late reply. Just saw your thread on the feed. Regarding sourcing parts from US dealers, as far as I know, getting parts for an international model might be hard at a US dealership, but you might still be able to do it. They could order these special parts, but it could cost more and take a while. If not, you might have to buy them from sellers that offer additional options or from sellers outside of the US.

Thanks for posting all of your findings - I've been following along! Do you have the part number for the needed parking module? I'm going to be in the UK in June (Isle of Man TT races! Yay!) and might pick one up while I'm there.
For the 2024, i'm pretty sure you will be using the 2020 module. the part numbers for it are:

rear only: 68441031ac
rear & front: 68441032ac

The rear only module has 3 connectors, so it is identical to the rear & front. I have no means to verifty this, but I'm pretty sure you can just load the firmware from 68441032ac to your 68441031ac and it will work. I have programmed a 68441031ac for this purpose, but i have learned my system is incompatible with this firmware, while I could of made it work by upgrading the modules that needed to be at 2020 firmware, it was a cheaper option to just upgrade the park assist module. I'll sell it to you for $50, you pay for shipping. if it doesn't work, i'll refund your $50. I do ask you to return it though.

Reference to adding blindspot monitoring, Infotainment now sells the harness separately for $240 currently on sale for $216. when I spoke with them about a year ago, they were only selling the entire package which is $2600

https://infotainment.com/shop/interior-accessories/wiring/c-intbsm-jl/?variant=11151&utm_medium=cpc&utm_source=google&utm_campaign=Google Shopping&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIhtnapOj5gAMV0_7jBx3-VwgcEAYYASABEgIzD_D_BwE

I custom made my harnesses, but this is a good deal to avoid all the headaches. I thought about building these cables, and selling them, but I figured it was a matter of time infotainment did it. $216 is pretty good deal. The intial $2,600 offer was ridiculous.

The blindspot modules are about $50 each, and you'll need a left and right, and you'll need the left and right mirrors. I bought my set over a year ago for about $150. You could get the european ones that puts the turn signal in the front side of the mirrors if you chose, but the wiring to bcm won't be in place for it to work. They have gone up slightly since i bought them, currently you can get both for about $200. I bought aftermarket tail lights that were led and had the space for blindspot modules (the modules go inside the tail lights) and they run currently about $100 each. I see them on ebay all the time. So figure on blind spot monitoring to cost about $750, This is for everything with the $216 harness set. If you are wanting OEM tails and mirrors, it will be a bit more.

Coding can be done with JSCAN or AOBD. AOBD is a better choice until jscan figures out a way to do a backup. I suggested to them to allow a backup/restore to/from an email address or a cloud drive, but not sure if they will. When modifying firmware settings, its easy to mess something up and difficult to have a restore point with jscan. AOBD allows you to backup to your laptop, for recovery. I have spent the last 2 years changing my base model wrangler jl sport to a fully loaded wrangler jl with every option available minus the drive train. I like the mileage the sport gives me, so I"m not changing that. But in that time, I have made several mistakes and the first time was a nightmare. I finally had to restore everything back to the original settings through the dealer service tool witech 2, then started again. With AOBD, you have the ability to do it. Just a thought.

I'm getting PM's on the rest of the diagrams for adding front park assist, and here they are. These are connections to the park assist module to the front bumper connector. I have posted diagrams for the bumper wiring previously and their associated connectors, so I won't post again. mouser.com can provide the connectors, wiring and pins. pay attention to the size of the wire, I had issues with using wiring(chinese!) that was thinner than it called for, causing too much resistance and effecting signal/voltage. In the drawings above, the part number that you enter over on mouser is on the drawing as "part description". Pull the data sheet for the part on mouser and get the pin for the size of the wire you will use. As for wiring, I used an old harness that I had laying around and sized my wiring at or above the required size. The connector and pins are pretty cheap, I didn't use a fancy pin crimper, but just a wire stripper I bought at harbor freights item number 98410 for $6.00. The tip is set up pretty well to colapse the channels as long as you do one of sides at a time. With 10 min of practice you'll be pretty good at it. Just buy extra pins. They are cheap. Make sure you put the pins in the correct slots, otherwise you'll be cursing and having to buy a set of tools to open connectors up lol.

Its not a bad install. I experimented with bmw clones of the park assist sensors, and they didn't work and gave me headaches. Just use the oem ones.

One other note on wiring, the drawing list the wire as a size, and most wire you will buy is by gauge. here's a tool to convert it if you need it:

https://www.rembar.com/resources-technical-information-on-refractory-metals/american-wire-gauge-awg/

In the diagrams the wire size is in millimeters. For example, .5 mm is 24 gauge. In the chart it is listed as 0.5106 mm though. Make sure to get automotive grade wire.

It really doesn't matter where you connect the canbus connector to. I recommend keeping it on the body canbus system though. If the connector I have attached fits, then it will work. I connected mine behind the glove box. The body and the cluster canbus systems are easily connected there. There is also body and cluster canbus connectors that are in black elongated boxes you can plug into right behind the rear seats in the side panel. They are a pain to get to, so I didn't bother. I don't remember which side had the cluster bus and which had the body bus, so if the connector below fits, you got the right one. If you connect the power and canbus, you should see the module in alphaOBD or jscan. If you don't, more than likely you have the canbus wires reversed.

For the power, the OEM connection point is xy401 pin 34. XY401 is almost impossible to get to. Its located up above the BCM on the passenger side. Even if you could disconnect it, it would be very difficult to put a pin in that connector. My solution was to just bypass that connector and wire from the park assist module connector C1 pin 1 and connect to the PDB connector C1 pin D4, which is on top of the engine between the firewall and the battery. Disconnect the batteries (both) before you start. There are 8mm bolts visible sporadicly holding the connectors down. You can disconnect them all or just the ones you need to get access to C1 in the PDB. As you can see in the connector layout, there are 4 connectors underneath all the fuses and relays. the top tray will remove, look along the sides and disable the clips and pull up the tray. There are 4 clips holding this tray down at the 4 corners. The connectors located closest to the outside of the vehicle will more than likely have to be loosened to be moved out of the way so you can get to C1 pin D4. It is not necessary to unscrew these bolts all the way out. They are captive. Use the connector diagram below of C1 to find D4. I pulled the pin there, and purchased another pin and ran it directly. The wire to pull only goes to XY401A pin 34, so tape it up if you wish. I thought about just not buying a pin, and cut the wire, and just splice the wire from the park assist module c1 pin 1. Since I waited on the other parts, I chose to just remove the current wire and insert my wire in the slot.

Just got my front parksense working! It was quite the project alongside rear parksense. I can also attest to not all parking sensors being equal. I bought what I believe were rear parking sensors but only 1 out of 6 ended up working and I got “performance/incorrect operation” trouble codes for the rest. Those sensors have a 90 degree angle to the connector. The front parking sensor connector is completely straight and the part number is 5YV68TZZAA. Put 6 of these sensors in and they will work.

Placed my module roughly where it’s supposed to go from the factory (minus a bracket that holds it there). Made my own harnesses and everything. Picked up a lot of experience with this project and feel accomplished ?

Also a note about supplying power from the XY401A above the BCM. You can access it, but it’s very difficult. Disconnect the car battery and unplug any BCM connectors that may get in the way. From there, you can reach you hand up there and disconnect the connector. It’s a larger version of door connectors XY600A and XY650A, so they disconnect the same way for reference. Feel around for the white lever, red and black tabs.

The harness is only held up there by a couple clips you can easily disconnect. Pinning this connector is actually very easy once you get it disconnected and pulled down to the footwell. The hard part is getting it reconnected because the female end above the BCM doesn’t have much slack to work with. You have to awkwardly maneuver both ends of the connector with one hand. The smaller your hand is, the better lol. But I managed it after 20 mins of struggle.

6SX94DX9AE is the part number if you want the Parksense on/off controller (you don't need it, can be done by radio control). You can get the on eBay for under $100. This P/N is for the 4xe model with the regen button, not sure about the standard P/N.
Just plug the new one in and works without issue.

The part number for this exact center stack for non 4xe models (swaps the regen button with Auto Stop/Start) is 7BU53DX9AB. It just happens to be the same one I got and managed to find it.

The right center stacks are hard to find because there are so many possible combinations of options and little to no information when browsing Mopar catalogs.

Hi everyone,
I am trying to get the parts for my 24 Wrangler, but I am confused about the parking sensor models. I realized there are two different sensor (probably different angle?)
5YV68TZZAA outer position (2,5)
6MK25TZZAA, center position (1,6,3,4) I assume 8, 9, 10, and 8, 9, 10, 8,9,10,11 are back sensors, and 7 and 12 are not available for Wranglers.
In this case, to add a front parking assist, I will need 2 x 5YV68TZZAA and 4 x 6MK25TZZAA?

In addition to this, I think I will need
Mopar 68336461AE WIRING FRONT FASCIA
Park Assist Module - Mopar (68441031AD)

And the mounting rings

Is there anything else I will need? I think I missed the part about how to connect the park assist module to the computer. Is there a wire that already exists so I can plug it in, or do I need additional wire harnesses for this? Currently I only have the wire for the front fog lamp (see attached images)

Thank you all for your help!
